God I hate this chalmers guy.
Dude should be happy he was even in the same car as these guys let alone "took a backseat".
Like guy you are horrible, seriously one of the worst PG's in the damn league. Just another bad signing this offseason.

I'm tired of people acting like Rio never contributed to any of two runs, dude had some HUGE games for us but we can't even stand by him when he's in a funk?

Chalmers ranked 13th in the NBA in steals as bad as he was last season.

James Harden was TOP 18 in steals last season and averaged more steals than LeBron.

I really hope Bazz plays his ass off in practice and eventually takes that starting spot.
And he's first person I traded away in myGM in 2k.

What does "standing by him" even mean? Not calling him out for playing like ****? Playing like **** for an entire playoffs is not a funk, it's playing like ****.

That means he's back, show him some support. It's a new **** season, get over that **** already.

That's right, it is a new season. All people are saying is stop running his mouth and making excuses about what you did. Just own it, you sucked. It's a new season, and you're going to try to do better. No one would give him **** if that's what he said. He's not 12, be an adult about it.

I like Chalmers. He was horrible in the playoffs last year. He will say anything you want him to into a microphone. So I don't really put much stock in what he has to say about anything.
If it were Wade or Bosh that said this, then I'd agree.
Hopefully he can bounce back this year. With Lebron gone, there will be more opportunities for him offensively--but he has to become a better defender. Otherwise it's time for Cole to become the starter.

Re: Chalmers: We All Took To A Back-Seat To LeBron In Finals
He's been a career Heatle. He's made big plays in the 2012 Finals and during the 2013 run. Some of his best games were with just him and Bosh on the floor, and he never wilted. He took a paycut to help build that championship roster. One bad postseason, when most of the rest of the team also ran out of gas, isn't a reason to single one man out for all this hate.
Rio wasn't the only one stinking last year. It was a long, 4-year grind. He's one of the few guys who was there for all 4 years. Some of the guys who were only on the roster 2 or 3 years fell flat last year too, so I don't understand the anger. The team lost as a team. It was that resounding a beating that no one person deserves to be singled out. Plus, I'd rather think fondly of the run up to that point. Nothing lasts forever. The run was always going to end in a loss.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to what Rio can bring this year. He will have a bigger role in the offense. I hope he can fill it.

He brings it on himself. Have you seen the way his teammates have to talk to him on the court? It's one thing to be confident, and another to be delusional.
When he plays god awful for a whole playoff run, and then spends the summer saying he's a top 10 PG and Lebron stifled his game, he sounds foolish.
