Bears Leadup

Simply put, if we win the turnover battle again and lose... esp to Jay Cutler, then its just a cursed season

They are even dealing with a s### ton more injuries than us at the moment.

I've been wrong about Fuller from Tech. Thought he was overrated in the draft but he's been awesome. Still, we should be able to out-offense them, if last week was an aberration. Especially if Marshall can't play.

If the Bears play like they have the past 2 weeks this is a loss plain and simple. McCarthy better light a fire under this team's ass THIS week or I would show him the door. I am done with that clown!

If we don't have success throwing the ball all over the field against their crippled secondary, then I'm officially hitting the panic button.

Simply put, our offense should light them up. I don't care about the "oh but it's a division game against the Bears, they're always tough" garbage. They have a terrible run D and a banged up secondary. If we don't score enough points to win it's on McCarthy and this coaching staff.

Can't go in and lose two straight division games on the road, especially against a team that looks as beatable as Chicago does right now.

The Bears didn't even play that well last night and they didn't play well for a half against San Francisco either.

Here's another team that has a patchwork secondary right now (just like the Lions) and I'm sure we'll decide to run the ball for a whole half, just like the Lions game this past week.

The Bears have looked like garbage the last few weeks offensively.

Which only means they will score 40 against us. Seriously, we should be able to beat this team. Peppers needs a blocked FG

Another good test for the defense. Though if Marshall can't go, I'll sure take it. Offense should be able to do whatever it wants. Gotta pick Cutler off when he gives us those chances.

And on Monday McCarthy will talk about how disappointed he was in Eddie Lacy and the run game. And then he'll say he's not going to criticize his players to the media.

I have no doubt that the Packers will turn this season around. Theres simply too much talent not to do so. And unlike our division rivals, this team is pretty healthy. But McCarthy needs to get his head out of his culo. Like yesterday.

I hope Bostick gets some snaps at TE and not just ST. Cobb needs to see more snaps on the outside but he also needs to beat 3rd and 4th string CBs one-on-one. Rodgers has to stop focusing on one route and then going into scramble mode. Go through progressions and scramble afterwards if necessary. If Boykin or Adams can't get separation, play Janis instead. And for the love of god, no more pitches to Lacy in one back sets. Force him up the middle behind Kuhn or Quarless or something.

Shields needs to show up anytime now. He was thrown at 7 times and allowed 7 receptions for 123 yards.

Hope we start lining up Cobb in the backfield a few times again and start mixing things up with him.

Hard to predict with this offense so out of sync.

We've had some close battles with the Bears lately, and this could be one of them again. Both teams are floating around mediocrity right now. We do need this game early because making the bears 3-1 and the Pack 1-3 is not healthy for playoffs.

If we do lose, I don't want to hear, "They are who we thought they were!" or, "It is what it is."

Because right now, I don't know who they are and I don't know who this team is either.

I'm not even excited about Bears week right now... :(

I think our plan to keep Cobb healthier buy not making the other team punt seems to be working well so far

Should I play Cutler or Rivers this week?

I can see this game being either 13-10 or 38-35.

Since the 2nd half of the jets game the defense has been very solid, where have you been??

I think our plan to have Aaron overthrow and under-throw wide receivers all game or holding on to the ball too long and taking sacks has worked out well.

Seriously Aaron deserves as much blame as ANYONE for our slow start.

There were also 5 drops and a few more that glanced off the receivers hands on poorly thrown balls. Not a good combination at all. Receivers can't get open, but when they do they drop the ball or Aaron throws behind or ahead of them.

The problem with just relying on photos like that is that they don't tell the whole story. Every route has a #1 option, a #2 option, etc etc. You have to go through your progressions because routes are always designed with those progressions in mind.
