We're in a sports world with wife beaters, drunks, criminals all over the place, Bledsoe mean while wanted a contract, what scum.

I think its a joke to have no respect for a guy because he wanted to get the best wage possible, something 99% of people in and out of the sports world do.

He is the best all around player on our team and anyone who has any interest in the Suns being competitive should be thrilled at his return.

.....as for Bledsoe improving his game, well, if he wants to get paid the big bucks, he better not do the same stupid **** he did with the basketball so often last year. Let's hope his work ethic is better than his intelligence and attitude.

If we finally sign him at 54/4 years great. He values that money even with his health's concerns.

Hope a deal gets done soon.

The triple headed guard rotation would be insane.....

Bledsoe/Dragic
Sub Bledsoe out at the 4 min mark
IT/Dragic
Start the 2nd quarter with
IT/Bledsoe
sub IT out at the 6 minute mark
Dragic/Bledsoe finish the half...
Repeat for 2nd half

Or something like this....

we could surprise ourselves again this year....

Plus I think Markieff is going to be a beast this year.

If plumlee and Len have improves at all....WATCH OUT!

LOL. He makes millions playing a game for a living. If showing that he is happy playing a GAME in Phoenix Arizona making MILLIONS of dollars earns your respect......then i shall end that conversation right there.

Again... what attitude? He has said and done nothing to indicate he has an attitude, we also never heard anything from the players, coaches or media last season that would indicate he has an attitude.

You don't like the way his agent negotiates... well... who freaking cares as long as at the end of the day a deal is reached thats good for both sides.

I couldn't care less what he does for a living or how much money he makes as it pertains to respect. I don't judge or demonize people based on how much money they make. I'm not a Democrat.

Gee, as if I and others haven't been completely clear about why we feel the way we feel.

Look. You believe what you believe and we'll believe what we believe. I can already tell that this is gonna be next in line of rehashed bull on Suns RealGM for at least the next 3 years. I've made my feelings abundantly clear and so have you, and nothing either of us say will change a goddamn thing.

If he signs then I'll be forced to root for success but I'm not particularly a full-fledged fan of him as a person and as a component of our locker room, say, compared to Goran Dragic or Isiah Thomas. It'll be like how I treated Shaquille O'Neal when we were forced to have him on the team. I'll be happy if he does things that help the team and I'll be angry if he does things that harm the team. If he wants to be treated as a mercenary, I'll treat him as a mercenary and not a beloved Sun. I'll reserve my outward adulation for others until he convinces me otherwise, and trust me, I'll want him to do that more than anyone else posting on this board.

The discussion is tired as ****.

Wow, if this is how you react to imagined slights I can't imagine how worked up you must get over real ones.

And they're all mercenaries, and its in their right are just as their teams quick to ship guys off when something juicier presents itself.

Take for example the venerated Goran Dragic. A hero of the 2010 playoffs, not even a year later is cast off for rubbish. A few years later returns... because we played him the most money. And a year from now he will opt out of that contract... to collect more money.

Well I heard Suns and Bledsoe have come to an agreement at 5 years/72 mil. No other details.

If we sign Bledsoe and Zoran we will have a better team than last year's team. Bledsoe makes a big impact, so it's very different to have him or not on your team. Our depth would be great and we can develop our youngster s slowly and earning his minutes, ala K. Leonard.

Tyler Ennis and Shavlik Randolph will not play, I think Ennis will be in D-League a ton of time.

If that comes true it would be a little overpay, but it is good too.

I thought I read somewhere that teams, under the current CBA, can only hand out a limited number of 5 year contracts, I think one. If that is so and we sign Bledsoe for 5 years, what are we going to do with Dragic?

I don't think we'll be able to get him for a few reasons.

1. We'll have 15 players.
2. I am not sure we'll cut Randolph after guaranteeing his deal.
3. Okafor will probably want to go to a contender like Cleveland if he's gonna take the minimum.

I hope not. 5 years at 14.5 per is pretty high.
I'd guess the 4th and 5th would be a team options.

Maybe that's how we get him to budge from the 3rd year PO (by paying him a bit more annually).

I trust our front office. If they do this, it's for 2 reasons.

1. They trust enough in his talents and health that he's going to be a very important part of this team.
2. They are confident the salary cap will go up enough where this won't matter in a couple years.

Assuming this gets done, anyone else think this spells the end of Ennis as a Sun? Especially if we sign Zoran.
Just no time for him. We'd probably hang onto him for this year to develop him for now and build his value if possible. But still, when would he ever have time with the contracts Thomas, Dragic, and Bledsoe have?

I'd push Goodwin back and move Green to the backup SG. MC to backup Tucker.

Republicans do it to, except it's the poor they hate, judge, and demonize. :(
