Have all the beef you want. But big deal, he's been off work and out of town for a little over 5 months. Seriously, why in the world would anyone care where he spends his offseason?

Something to the effect of "Eric Bledsoe, you are lucky you were not shipped off for a draft pick, a 40 year old corpse of a point guard.,and a vending machine. Welcome home!"

If only that vending machine had better snacks......
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Honestly though, Paul probably said don't worry about anything or talk to the Suns. I'll take care of it. Or LeBron told him to let the agent handle it. For all we know Bledsoe finally went to him within the last couple of days and said "Hey, I'm getting tired of this..lets just get something done." He could just as easily be worried about pissing off the front office and his teammates.

He's quiet enough to where he probably didn't say much for the longest time, and maybe he didn't say anything recently either, but I did find it odd they suddenly are negotiating, a week before they really have to.

He could have also gotten really worried that the Suns would end up being fine with him taking the QO, which is something he definitely DID NOT want because him (and I'm sure his wife) want to cash in on big time guaranteed money.

5 years, 70 mil. That's a big jump from 4/48.

Thank God this part is over. I could definitely see him getting dealt though now that he's "secured."

McDonough, you are a miracle worker. I feel like this is a great deal for both sides. I wonder if the Suns will call a press conference to announce the new deal. Everyone wants to hear from Eric, that's for sure.

Not really. 4/48 = $12M a year. 5/70 = $14M a year. It's $2M extra a year and one additional year.

Yeah, 14 a year which is where many thought it would end up. And we get him locked up for the extra year. Sounds good to me.

5 year 70 million is not bad..

its equivalent to 4 years 56 million... Which MOST here are "OK" with...

Hopefully its team option at 5th.

Or...

Since its not max.... will a trade be happening next?
