He ain't better than Gray.

If we can get him on the GR Drive, I guess I wouldn't mind it - run the same offense down there as we do up here and thus need a athletic big center. But what I HATE about the D-League is that any team could poach non-NBA contracted players, so if he starts showing ANYTHING, he gets signed away. He's 28 years old though, his ship has long sailed.

Wow didn't realize he was 28. It's an interesting move, he was bound to get picked up by someone for training camp. Nothing wrong with it being the Pistons.

This isn't really worth a story though. He WAS a #2 pick at one point solely because of his potential. Clearly his potential never panned out. But his draft status means nothing now. They aren't bringing him in to be a project. They're bringing in another camp guy who plays a position that they wanted filled during the pre-season. Shouldn't matter what the name accompanying the player is. They aren't sticking around.

Maybe SVG is trying to find the 04 team luck, and grabbed another #2 overall pick that was a monstrous bust!?

Considering the Pistons current roster situation, he doesn't have a chance to make the roster unless a trade that dumps quite a few contracts goes down.
