However even in ISO situations, you need space to operate... throw a big C down low in Cousins' way and suddenly those post ups, P&Rs & ISOs are tougher to execute because the lane is now crowded.

Good stats... I see your point of view.

The game really has changed over the last decade or so - not just with 3 point shooting but also rules protecting players who drive to the basket - defensive 3 seconds and no hand-checking. Old school fans remember the days where low post basketball was the primary way to score. But now - if you have more than 1 player who's limited to that on offense, it clogs up your offense and makes you easy to defend. That's why you see teams like Detroit fail. 20 years ago, that Detroit roster would win. 20 years ago, the game was played differently. Joe Dumars didn't get the memo.

Got it - agreed. My point is that I see Cousins being much more versatile than say Pek. I think most underestimate his skill in this way. He can play all over the court and doesn't tend to sit in the low post and clog things up.

And agreed the Love type PF is a better solution.

The starting QB is Cousins' job. Even if RG3 heals in the next 10-12 weeks.

After throwing 3 interceptions in one quarter, I am wondering how good Colt McCoy is.

Cousins sucked epically tonight.

Unfortunately, Cousins is who I always thought he was.

I hope someone cleaned up that huge turd left on the field last night. Wouldn't want the new grass to die.

To put it in perspective:

Robert Griffin has 17 interceptions in his career and Kirk Cousins has 15 interceptions in his career.

RGIII has started in 30 games.

Kirk has started 6.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Those numbers are horrible. For those ready to anoint Cousins our QB of the future, what say you now?

Here's what I'm wondering, when will RG3 be back?

Worst part of last night was Cousins trade value officially went into the toilet.

He looked like a guy who was just following a script regardless of the coverage.

And Kirk becoming straight shook when he takes pressure is officially a thing now. He completely lost his mind following the pick.

Yeah guys make mistakes, throw bad passes and have bad games... but the mental meltdown in the 2nd half was quite disturbing. It will be real interesting to see if he can bounce back from this.

Crow, raven, magpie ...

Cousins is a really bright guy but he didn't play sensibly or smartly at all. He kept on lobbing the ball up for grabs. Ball security is the most important aspect of the game. Kirk has the yips. He cannot be trusted to not give the ball away.

I knew Cousins was usually good for a turnover or two (especially after allowing D. Jackson to take his jersey # then picking Rex Grossman's jersey as a replacement--HORRIBLE kharmic implications) but now I'm worried he's flat out shell-shocked and if he wasn't from that game he will be after the Seattle game.
