Or they run and gun their way to 9-2 without someone walking the ball up?

There could be a silver lining here?.... It does allow Stevens the chance to take a peek at a few of the many potential Rondo replacements that we have in camp.....Things happen for a reason sometimes...

Or they won't? Nonsense.

This is terrible. Cause we were so great last year when Rondo was up & we were flying up & down the court outscoring teams!

I'm not going to argue the point with you 2mas...It's obvious to me that you are a huge Rondo supporter...and I'm sorry for your loss...

But there's no sense crying over spilt milk...

This team might surprise a few like like it did last year until we sent Rondo's replacement away so Rondo could come back....was right about then that it all went south....

Man, ****! I was looking forward to a healthy Rondo. Damn. Do you guys think this helps in keeping his asking price low if he has another injury plagued season? Or would you even want him?

If you're referring to Jordan Crawford, you realize we were 13-26 and the 12th seed when he got traded? And furthermore, we didn't surprise anyone last year. Never had a winning record at all and the only time we were even .500 is when we started the season out 4-4.

I broke my 5 metacarpal this summer and I play ball everyday.

It took me 5 weeks to come back to the court. and that was without surgery and a clean break. So 6-8 weeks sounds about right.

A guy that rich doesn't have a slip proof shower? I once didn't have a shower mat for like a year, you had to be ridiculously careful--- that was when I was in college and essentially living in a flop house. Pretty sure Rondo could afford better than that.

This is hogwash, I say.

It's called a boxers fracture. My injury happened trying to strip the ball from someone it's just a fluke injury.

They're saying he slipped in the shower.

Not buying it.

The truth will come out eventually. Hopefully it's more along the lines of idiocy of how he did it like Glen Davis and nothing bad.

100 % agree with this. How the hell can someone logically break their hand slipping in the shower? I guarantee there is more to this story.

Rondo is going to miss what? 10 games or so? Tough loss considering how tough the first 15 games are. Don't be shocked to see them lose every game until he comes back.

Big Bang Theory's Sheldon Cooper would scold Rondo for that... :D

(He gave Penny hell for not having a mat after she fell in her shower and suffered a dislocated shoulder.)

Sh-t happens......

he will still be asking a lot if he enters free agency as he is a very cocky guy. Any team that wants him, your best bet is to snag him at the trade deadline. He'll reup for those 5 years wherever. I don't buy the "I won't sign with" stuff with him. He's always been a loyal guy and has never indicated anything other than Boston is where he wants to be despite trade rumors and criticism. If he goes to Sacramento against his will, he'll re-sign there in my opinion.

"Boxer's fracture", eh Watson?

The clues continue to add up, or my name isn't sherlock41.

Would have been much better to just say he broke it playing basketball somewhere like your injury. That 'fell in his home' BS is more played out than the 'dog ate my homework'. Everybody knows that's not the real reason. Unless dude was going proper 'Jackass 3.0' trying to surf his stairs or something.

Bad? That ending was hilarious. I think that was one of Johnson's highlights in a Cs jersey

My heart stopped when he hit that 3. I thought it was going to be a 4pt play didn't see that he was out of bounds.

Am I the only one who thinks maybe... just maybe... he actually broke his hand slipping in the shower? I'm not saying I don't have any doubts but I'm not calling bull on it either. People die falling down in showers. That is why there are so many people who smell bad, they are passing on their genes and non-bathing habits.

Celtics can't get a break.

Dang it, poor choice of words.
