The only trolll is you, as you've showed time and time again. Carlos Gomez is a crappy hitter RIGHT NOW who looks overmatched. I am not saying he'l continue to being an overmatched hitter, but now he is.

Thanks, and have a nice day.

My father asked me earlier today how I, a fairly intelligent person and a big Yankees fan, can actually predict that this game was going to be awful. I didn't think it would be 2 - zip but I F**KING KNEW that that bum who was on life support a year ago in Pittsburgh was going to toss a gem. I knew it. We just didn't catch any breaks tonight. The few hard hit balls were right at fielders. These games suck. I'm going to drink. Alot.

your gimmick is sickening, seriously.

bno just owned you.

i see all the yankees fans saying they cant hit and score runs before this winning streak, but you bash a player that bunts to get onto base- probably because he knows he might be overmatched if he swung the bat?

honestly, you're a troll.

edit: put it in the books.
Chillax man, no need to go below the belt against a good poster in cmaff. Sure we all have our different views but you gotta respect it, you can't bash him and lable him because he thinks differently.

He isn't a troll, he's just a Yankee fan hating on a Met player. It's the norm. What you're doing is trolling even though you have no intentions of doing it.

And no I didn't own him, all I just did was post something during mid May on what he said on Gomez. You're cool in my book also and I don't want the Met forum community to lose you, we already lossed Majorleads.

Very disappointing... a loss is one thing, but a 2-0 shutout is disgusting. They need to put up some runs tomorrow.

As if you and every other Mets fans don't hate on Yankees. It's a never ending cycle. It will never end.

good game.

If you were being serious Jose, something of which I can't comprehend to be correct, than you are right. It was a pretty good game. If my team was the winner as opposed to the dreadful lifeless loser, I might share your enthusiasm.

It's also my emotion getting the best of me. :D I was just pissed, we came in with so much momentum and Oliver Perez just ended that by pitching well.

There wasn't nearly enough patience tonight with a guy who pitched well but was also very wild. He needs to go thank Cano, Melky, and Phelps (person who thinks he is Babe Ruth).

Cano has dissapointed me. He hasn't improved one bit since his major league debut. Jose Reyes had no discipline in his first year. But he worked hard and learned how to walk and be selective. Robinson Cano has changed JACK in regards to his game. He's still the free swinger he was circa 2005.

2005: 27 walks
2006: 53 walks
2007: 37 walks

:droop: Jose Bernabe Reyes :droop:

That improvement in walks is really impressive. What I was suprised to hear today was that Reyes hadn't hit for a home run for over 200 at-bats. Is that true? If so, I would expect a home run binge soon, Reyes has some excellent power for a guy his size.

Jose Bernabe Reyes

Exactly. Both of their first years were filled with zero discipline and first pitch free swinging. Reyes adjusted and took his game to yet another level. Cano has yet to develop the patience you need in this league not to mention his lineup.

Yes, he hasn't hit a homerun in over 200 at bats before tonight. Which is a good thing because Met fans don't want him to hit homeruns because it might mess up his swing.

When he first came up at the age of 19 Peter Gammons said that he's the next Miguel Tejada with speed.

why are we raggin' on Cano all the sudden ? I mean damn chill w/ that he's a way different hitter, a future # 3 to 5 bat let him play a few more games before stupid talk starts. No one was saying this when he hit vs Boston chalk it up to a bad night jesus guys it's ok to admit defeat the Mets were better tonight plain and simple , Gomez made a wonderful play and that was the turning point.

Good news is the pitching is doing it's job.
