You guys remember Collins getting the same penalty for kneeling down after he returned an INT for a TD in the Owl?

Husain Abdullah, the guy flagged, is Muslim. Hope the league catches flack for flagging a guy for paying respect to his religion. Maybe they'll think twice about these stupid ass flags for celebration then.

Didn't even think about it that way, he should raise a stink about it. I couldn't care less about anyone's religion but anything that gets these stupid rules changed is fine with me :P

Solid job by New England forcing the diversification of the offense, lol. Participation trophies for all, James White gets one for his appearances. I wish Simmons wasn't muted next week so I could hear his take on this.

Like I said, we definitely would have been making a mistake to pursue Brian Orakpo at such a hefty price tag... he has a whole half a sack so far this season. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/foo ... is-season/

Pats will be all right this year, but their window is almost closed.

I really hope we go out and get at least a DL before the deadline this year. League is wide open.

Thanks for mentioning that, because it's absolutely right. The league issued a mea culpa this morning for the error in throwing the flag.

I don't blame the refs for not knowing any better, though.

He's still posting on Instagram. I guess they haven't banned him from that.

Celebration penalties in general are stupid. I liked the Sharpie, the cell phone under the goalpost, Chad Johnson's creative ball-as-props stuff, etc.

Who actually had a problem with them? Old "get off my lawn" types?
