A lot of lofty expectations for Kobe this upcoming season. I think 20-5-5 on decent efficiency seems about right, more than anything I just hope he can play 90% of the season.

I love how the only metric for performance in this poll is PPG.

Yes, and if he gets 35 PPG on 20% shooting he would be a bad scorer.

Its quite literally impossible to score 35 PPG while shooting 20%. I mean you'll run out of possessions for that to happen.

It's what is known as a hypothetical example to emphasis a point. 35 PPG on 30% shooting is not good either.

Thinking clearly hasn't helped you much so I don't think I'll be missing it.

At this age, Kobe's bound to play more SF where historically he's been most efficient. Also doubt he'll be taking as many low quality bail out shots and heat-checks as he has in the past. His shot attempts should be down, and his post attempts will go up.

Last time he was healthy (2012-2013) he shot one of the best percentages of his career 46.3%.

And last year, even when he was rusty as **** he only shot 42.5%, but 6.3 assists. He'll adjust and be fine. It's basketball and as long as Kobe can move he'll be able to shoot old man post up fades until he's 60.
