Post#1 » by jjtreyball » Sun Oct 5, 2014 3:11 pm

Probably shouldn't of started a thread for this but does anyone know if this is streamed anywhere besides NBA TV? Thanks :)

Ballstreams has it, but you need an account. I'm still waiting on an invite I requested a few months ago...

Omg, it feels so weird to see ball movement.

And how the hell did Waiters miss that easy layup?

Macabbi came to play. Sheesh. There is definitely some rust but it's expected in preseason. It doesn't seem like the Cavs are playing with much confidence either.

Impressed by Love's effort on both ends. Still not totally in sync, but he's playing faster than I expected.

64 rebounds o.O

liked our defense after the first quater.

the offense will be godly once the usual startup hickups are out and everybody has their Game Legs...

Tristan looks really nice at Center... also nice to see guys like Harris in Action and doing well !

So tonight was the first time I realized that the Q had a vip section behind the basket in the club levels. Pretty ridiculous unlimited food and all you can drink to boot.

I could get used to that.

Looks like we just have to play more togther and get our game legs and we should be solid all around.

That sucks. I didn't realize that the game was yesterday, nor that it would be televised. I'm really happy to see that Blatt started Tristan & Waiters. Undersized or not, if they're going to extend Tristan then he needs to show that he can play starters minutes. The starting lineup now reminds me a lot of the Blazers' starters, on steroids. The balance is going to be fun to watch. Let's just hope that TT's timing on defense will help us defend the rim.

Starting Waiters means that Lebron can go about getting his first DPOY trophy. An offense with Irving, Waiters, Love & the greatest decoy ever should mean that Lebron shouldn't have to exert much effort on offense until the second half.

The game showed how absolutely stacked we are on offense. They scored so effortlessly you really didn't even notice they were putting up so many points.

Kyrie really looks to have made some strides, the national team really helped him a lot I feel.
Love, even when rusty on offense, is just a rebounding machine and those outlet passes... wow lol.
LBJ didn't even try, no need to. Man seems to be all business. Back in his first Cavs stint he seemed like he wanted to have fun and win games.... now he seems to have this look of all business out there, I like it.
Dion definitely fits into the starting lineup to me. I think he has a solid case in his best back court this year, I really do.
Honestly, I was very impressed by Joe Harris. I'd really like to see him make the squad and not go down to Canton, he really looked good.

I'm concerned with how Love fits into Blatt's motion offense and whether KI and Dion will get him the ball immediately when he's open on the block. He's lethal down there so long as the pass is made right away, the Cavs have a bread and butter play that other teams will have to worry about defending.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

IMO love was passing out of a lot of good looks. I also think he doesn't score less than 19 ppg when the season starts a lot more opportunities with more minutes, a quick pace and so many offensive rebounds

A couple of observations:

Love needs to get more looks. Both in the paint and on the perimeter. I have no doubt that Kyrie/Lebron will get him the ball more and more as the season moves on. He is just too talented not to.

Both Kyrie and Dion are going to get soooooo many open threes. Their percentages could skyrocket.

Love's outlets give me chills.

Tristan is going to get a lot of easy dunks due to quite a few things:
- 5th Option on stacked team.
- Constant energy and athleticism
- Solid offensive rebounder
- Love/KI/Lebron best trio of passers in the league.

Love this team.

I could see Love scoring an incredibly efficient 18 points and 14 rebs.

Just think he won't need to score more than 20.
Kyrie I have at 22 points and 8 assists
Lebron at something like 25p, 7r, and 5a.
