11 top 25 teams lost yesterday. granted like half of them were to ranked opponents, but still, damn impressive nonetheless.

I think I've watched the ASU Hail Mary about 15-20 times today and I still don't understand how USC's defense played it so terribly.

The goddamn captain was fielding it like a kick return and didn't even bother looking for ASU's receivers.

The rankings are going to be super weird by season's end. Think about it:

- FSU and Notre Dame play each other.

- Mississippi State and Ole Miss have the Egg Bowl, and they both still have to play Auburn.

- Bama/Auburn have the Iron Bowl.

- OK St. and OU play each other.

- All the conference championship games.

I still think two 1-loss SEC teams will make the playoffs. I also think one of Ohio St./Sparty will make it. That leaves one spot for someone like FSU, Oregon, Arizona, etc.

The final 2/3 of this season is going to be absolutely bananas.

im having a tough time seeing there being 2 one loss teams in the sec. i just feel both the miss schools will lose before the egg bowl. i can see auburn being undefeated going into the iron bowl though.

i'll be curious what all shakes out in the big 12 though too. OU loss but they have the matchup with Baylor in a month and any thought all along that would decide the conference. It's also a home game for them and Baylor struggles on the road. Baylor, TCU are both undefeated, and K St/Ok st have really tough non-confernce losses, so I think they're all still alive for one of the spots.

Ok st/TCU meet in ft worth in 2 weeks and baylor/tcu is this week so their gauntlet is just now starting, while Ok st's schedule is absolutely batsh*t having to play tcu, wvu, k st, baylor and ou with 4 of those on the road.

i think if a big 12 team gets through the year with just one loss, they're deserving, especially over the big 10 or notre dame

I just think the winner of the Sparty/Ohio St. game in a month wins out the rest of their schedule, including the Big 10 Championship, so that'll get that team in the playoff.

I would legitimately love to see Baylor make the playoff, just to see if that offense is the real deal against another big program.

The reason why I believe two SEC teams go with one loss is I think Auburn goes undefeated until the Championship, but still get one of the four spots. Whoever beats them also goes.

get baylor at home and they might be the best team in the country. they still have a lot of road woes (see last year in stillwater) didnt even play that great vs texas yesterday.

you really think auburn gets upset by an sec east team? how?

It's the SEC. The last two and a half years in that conference has been insanity.

i am pretty convinced 2 sec teams will be in, whether two one loss teams or one undefeated/one one-loss. fsu is pretty much locked in as well as they don't play anbody, notre dame nowhere near as good as their ranking. last spot up for grabs, me thinks big 12 teams beat each other up, oregon loses one more and either msu or osu gets in.
