There is a pretty huge gray area between "2 superstars" and "Mo Williams and Larry Hughes". We still don't really know if 1 co-superstar would have been enough, and maybe we never will.

They were locked into the contracts of Mo Williams, Antawn Jamison, Boobie Gibson, Anderson Varejao. They wouldnt have gotten the top picks Waiters, Thompson, etc.

They had no tradeable "assets" other than late firsts, and no other 2nd star much less a 3rd star...

seeing as the Heat won 2 of 4 with 3 of the top players in the game, and some of the best role players in the league (Allen, Haslem, Battier, Miller, Anderson)... I really doubt it.
