I think this is the first season he didn't report to campm out of shape, overweigth and with a weird hairdo. Not that it maters, as he'll play at least 90 games every regular season.

As some expected from his slow start, A Miller needed a few games to find his sea legs. He doesn't really train much over the summer letting his body naturally gain weight and then working it off during the start of the season.

He had some pep back in his step and his post game was working again.

I want to see it another few games for sure, but I think we might all be able to exhale now.

We have IND tomorrow. Lets see how he handles the back to back. Might take him another week or two until he gets in true game shape for back to backs.

It's such a pleasure to watch him go to work in the low post. He scores EVERY DAMN TIME! And he does it with no athleticism and no jumping ability. He just takes those suckers to school.

I really hope he can teach Wall a thing or two about playing in the post. Wall could really make all these little PG's pay for being so short.

Yeah his TS and assist rates are absurdly high right now. As long as Wall stays healthy we don't have to worry about him getting worn out. Guy can't jump over the morning paper but has no problem finishing inside.

Also give Wittman a little credit for adding wrinkles in the offense to allow Miller to thrive. It's fairly hard to run post-ups in today's NBA, but the Wizards manage to disguise it well enough so that teams can't double before it's too late.

I think this is one of the reasons we see so little of Blair. Blair can't shoot so he can't spread the floor for Miller to post. At least Seraphin, Gooden and Nene are competent midrange shooters.

I think he is working on the skills but doesn't have them down well enough to use them on a consistent basis.

One thing as a time. Also, no reason to break out all your tricks at once before you are ready. It a long season.

We have to imagine he is working with Miller on this stuff on a regular basis.

I would be pretty surprised if they weren't.
