@CraigAZSports: #Suns Len said he got hit---by Tyler Ennis---on the finger going up for a dunk, "It was an and-1; and I didn't get the call."

I get that Faried is 'technically' the more accomplished player, but IMO, McD definitely got the better deal. From a straight stat comparison perspective:
http://www.basketball-reference.com/pla ... 02&y2=2014
Faried has the higher shooting % and averaged 2.5 more rebounds per game, but he's also not a 3 pt threat at all, and nearly 2" shorter and 20 lbs lighter. And honestly, Kieff, has as much upside, if not more.
What's your thoughts? Did Faried deserve that high of a contract? And if so, do you consider Kieff's contract a steal? Just curious.
Len said he finished the play, despite the injury.
"It was (an) and-1, and I didn't get the call," he said, smiling, but added he immediately felt soreness in the finger.
An X-ray confirmed the second fracture.
"It wasn't healed all the way yet, so you could see the fracture still from the previous time," Len said. "You still can see (the break), so I don't know if it's a re-break or (if) they're going to look at it (again) next week."
Lingering ankle issues limited Len to only 42 games his rookie year, in which he averaged 2.0 points and 2.4 rebounds.
Quite a bit more is expected of him in his upcoming sophomore campaign.
"I don't get discouraged. As long as it's not my feet or nothing like that, I'm fine. It's just a pinky, so I don't get discouraged. Everything is going to be all right," he said. "I still can work on a lot of other things: I can run, do conditioning and stuff (and) work on my left hand. I can pass the ball. I can guard. It's just a pinky. It's nothing major. It's nothing compared to ankles."
phrazbit wrote:I think Faried is worth much more than what Kieff is and that he would go bonkers getting to fly up and down the court in our system. I think Faried probably would have gotten a max deal if he were on the open market, while Kieff IMO would have been looking a 7-8 mil on a 3-4 year deal.
