Wow. On the one hand, I'm glad that the Dodgers won't be winning the World Series. On the other hand, I was hoping for a Dodgers-Giants NLCS. Now I'm not sure if we'll even get half that matchup.

solid season.
disappointing.

no allegiance to anybody. I hate the Giants but ima little too hurt to put on an anti-rally cap like in the previous even years when we were out of it way earlier.

If my math is correct this is the 100th straight time either the Cards or Giants will represent the NL in the series. Unless the Nats come through.

Six people would watch that series. Including myself.

But seriously, if I have to see the Cardinals get to the WS one more goddamn time and have Joe Buck talk about how that franchise "does it the right way," I'm going to throw my TV in a canal.

figures you'd take issue with the word "solid" and overlook the word "disappointing".

one last thought on my Dodgers before i stop making them a subject of this thread and move on with my life and this postseason....

Kershaw's acceptance of the Cy Young and possible MVP.
going to be very awkward moments with tons of questions about the postseason and Cardinals.

I really hope Kershaw doesn't win the MVP.

With that said, it should still be Giancarlo Stanton even though he missed the last two and a half weeks.
