Off to Hungary for 4 nights tomorrow, quite exciting - meant to be really cheap meat and beer, bonus.

The wife and I have done HEAPS of travelling since moving to London last year, been a blast!

This year we've been for holidays to Brussels, Split, Dublin, Edinburgh, Norway (Oslo and Tromso, Northern Lights = EPIC), Paris, Prague.

Next month we're going to Edinburgh to see the NZ rugby team play Scotland, then for Christmas we're off to Vienna for a week.

February we're off to Scandinavia (Estonia, Denmark, Sweden and Finland) for a week of snow, can't wait.

That's awesome Tastic. I'm targeting Iceland as a destination for my next vacations, though I would have to go during the summer (no Aurora :( ) as I would like to catch Glastonbury Festival as well (I've been to the last two).

It's not looking likely for next year, but I still haven't lost hope.

You went to Glasto last year?! Nice. Gutted I missed seeing Metallica...fav band.

Pondered going next year but seems a bit too expensive still.

Really hope it snows for Christmas...coming from NZ it's always hot and sunny, last year here in London it was cold/rainy...want some goddamn snow which is why we chose Vienna!!

Yes, I went this year and last. Only caught a couple of Metallica songs though. I don't really like them :D
It IS a bit expensive when you consider ticket + travel + camping gear + food/drinks. But definitely worth it (for us two anyway).

We always get a few surprised looks when people realise we traveled from Argentina to Glastonbury

Hey fans, just dropping by to gain some knowledge.

Girlfriend and I are travelling down to Phoenix for the Timberwolves and Lakers game Jan 16-19.

Anyone got suggestions for foods, arena must-dos, general must-dos or any other general suggestions? So far we've got nothing planned aside from the two games and maybe heading up to the Canyon.

*I apologize if your CT has a no basketball talk policy

If you're going up to the big hole in the ground canyon make sure you go to antelope canyon and swing through Sedona on your way back to PHX.

First off, good timing to go to Arizona, the weather should be perfect.
Secondly, for the first game Twolves and Suns, who are you rooting for? And then you are watching Lakers/Suns so I'm assuming you are rooting for Lakers then.

If you're into sushi, I know of a very good sushi spot that is all you can eat for $20 per person. I think it's a very great price considering all the sushi you can get and it's actually pretty good quality. It's called Mido sushi, it's in Chandler area, I'm sure you can google map it. I just moved to Oregon, and I'm having problems finding a good quality sushi spot that is affordable.

Check out Sedona if you are going to the Canyon. Maybe the Hoover Dam? There really isn't much to do. The Science center in downtown Phoenix, if you're interested in that kind of amusement. I'd look on Groupon to see if there is anything else.

If you are seeking the best Italian food in Arizona head to new yorks best Italian bistro. Everyone is either from Brooklyn or the Bronx. Its a family owned restaurant with best food in town. Also the manager and some of the employees are HUGE suns fans....cough cough.

As per thr game, will be cheering for Wiggins, Bennett and Ennis but Suns over Wolves. And yeah, you're correct with the Lakers :P

Be prepared for cold weather if you head to the Canyon. Remember it is at 7000' elevation and can be snowing and below freezing in January. Phoenix on the other hand should be lovely.
