- our bigs can't hit free throws
- defense is poor so far up towards the end of the 1st
- offense is great with afflalo
- 2nd unit looks poor, but apart from chandler it's with rooks

Looks like they're keeping Gallo, Nate, JaVale an Hickson out until regular season, maybe working them in gradually maybe. Hard to get an idea of how they'll mix with the other players, but they are all vets. so....

Pulled one off against OKC, Mozgov is looking like a beast, the light is coming on !! He had 20/8 in 24 mins. Nurkic had 15 rebs. (6 offensive) and Harris is looking promising as well. Lawson had 12pts with 7 dimes, a true team effort.

Jusuf Nurkic is currently number one in rebounds per game in preseason with 12.0 rebounds per game through 3 games playing 21 mpg.

Very impressive stat for the 20 year old rook.

Nurkic is going to be a fan favorite.

Love his rebounding tenacity!

Yep, Nurkic may turn out to be a real gem.

And with Mozgov improving, the McGee contract is looking pretty lousy.

mcgee is looking disposable right now. nurkic is a beast, love how the bench is responding.

Nurkic has potential to be an absolute monster. That last foul call was ridiculous lol wtf, he should not have 4 fouls!

Also Mozgov looks really, really good. I mean I saw the improvement last year. He looked great towards the end of the year, especially with his 93 point game..... but man he's taking it up ANOTHER level!

Your team is so deep. I love Wilson Chandler off the bench. Gary Harris is going to be a stud as well, IMO. It's also good to see Gallo playing like old Gallo

I get that Shaw is experimenting with the rotation but we're halfway through the preseason, at some point you gotta start playing to win the game.

The team isn't shooting well at all, could be a result of all the bodies that are playing but it's not an encouraging sign.

Also the Moz, JuNu hype train is picking up steam, I'm not ready to hop on yet.

It's so disappointing that McGee still might not be ready for the regular season. We really need him to get on the floor and prove something. Anything, really. Whether he shows that he's good enough to warrant keeping around, just barely good enough to boost his trade value so we can get something decent for him, or even if he proves that he'll never get "it" so we can finally dump him and move on - none of that can happen until he sees the damn floor. Regardless of how good Nurkic looks, Shaw has to give those minutes to McGee in the regular season.

I know preseason is about tinkering with lineups, seeing who can play, conditioning and finding chemistry and all, but WHERE WAS THE DEFENSE that Shaw is supposed to be implementing ???? We has a 21 pt lead at one time that evaporated quickly, have seen this before in the GK days, tell me what has changed ?

Just read McGee is up to 270lbs of muscle, had to do something while rehabbing that leg. Looking forward to see what a bigger McGee can do. Size isn't a problem with the Nuggets centers, Mozzy is the smallest at 250lbs.

I predict double technicals on Nurkic and Bogut if they're on the court together.

Nuggets lost to the Warriors on a 20-6 run in the 4th qtr. Neither Klay or Curry were on the court during this run, so again I ask, where's the defense that Shaw was supposed to be bringing to this squad ???
