Watching the Lakers-Warriors game and the Warriors offense looks 10x better than it was last year. With all the offensive talent they had it was asinine that they were running a rudimentary pick and roll offense all game long. Now there's so much movement and it's beautiful to watch. If their top level defense doesn't drop off they're going to be legit contenders. Harrison Barnes looks like a much better player now that he's in a structured offense and not being used as just a spot up shooter.

Jeremy Lin is starting to look like Linsanity again. His pick and roll game is on point and his defense has been great. He's being much smarter with the ball and has cut down on his silly turnovers. He landed in a good situation under the tutelage of Steve Nash to develop his game.

Ed Davis is awesome. He's looking like the Lakers best 4 man and has played both sides of the court well. He's such a versatile scorer. He can face up and back his man down, and he's good at pulling up from around the free throw line to drain the jumper. I have no idea what the water in Memphis was doing to him.

17 points and 5 boards on 5/9 (3/5) shooting

The guy is a straight-up baller and not your typical rookie. There's a reason he's been the best player in Europe for a few years, and now he's coming off the bench for Chicago. Easily the best front court in the league with Noah-Gasol-Gibson-Mirotic

Holy moly, he is good :o

Reminds me of Garbajosa.

Except for the fact that Garbajosa was good at nothing especially shooting.

Garbajosa was a 3pt shooter and was the same body type. He shot .342 from 3 when he played in 06-07. That's league average for a guy is who was also a good defender.

I remember uncontested brick after brick. He was by FAR the most overrated player in Raps history. He got the reputation of being a tough hustle type player with good defence by the media before he even played and his positional defense was okay but his man to man defence was terrible. He didn't deserve the minutes he got. He never hustled and avoided contact at all cost. He was generally bad at everything.

I guess you and I different perspectives on how important he was to our run in the 06-7 season.

Lets just say I'm glad we had Garbajosa.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.
