Would make the trip to the Rams once a year a little easier time/travel wise but they've been rumored to move for years so talk of them moving is nothing new.

Would love if the rams moved back to LA so I could see the Niners at least once a year.

Raiders make the most sense.

The rams would be good as we'll.

Can't see it being San Diego but they have been having stadium issues for a while as we'll.

Honestly San Diego makes the most sense to me. For one, it's the closest in proximity to LA, and out of the three teams, it's the worst in attendance.

Also if the Rams are moved to LA, that means California will house FOUR NFL teams. While it could certainly support that, I don't like the thought of four teams in Cali while there are places like Oregon, Utah and Oklahoma without a single team.

I would hate it if the Rams moved. I would never get to see San Fran play anymore. Stop being selfish LA guys!

Rams, Chargers, and Raiders all make sense and all 3 would be able to successfully transition into LA.

Out of the 3 Rams make the most sense because they have the longest history in LA and likely have the largest chance of the 3 to gain adoption from people of the city.

You would have all the NFC West actually be on the West and you could foster another SoCal vs NorCal rivalry and potentially another California vs Washington rivalry with the Seahawks.

Raiders make sense because it's another team with strong Raiders fanbase in LA and you could still foster a SoCal/NorCal rivalry along with fostering a smaller LA County vs Orange/SD county rivalry.

Chargers would have the most difficult time being adopted because of said strong Raider fanbase and because of the LA County vs Orange/SD county rivalry. It would be like moving the Raiders into SF or moving the 9ers to Oakland and all you're going to do is piss a lot of people off.

I rep your willingness to share NFL franchises across the states...

I usually go up there for a game every year. But this way I can see a game for sure and not have to travel because now I have a kid, so traveling is not so easy.

Rumor is the Seahawks could move to the AFC West if both the Raiders and Chargers move to L.A. with the Raiders moving to the NFC West.

I think moving the Seahawks would be a mistake because the division finally is starting to build some good rivalries with each other and adding the Raiders would really only mean something to the 9ers.

Well, that move would happen because they don't want two AFC West teams in the same city. It makes sense, if they have to re-allign, to move the Seahawks (back) to the AFC West. They already spent a few decades in that division, so they can rekindle rivalries with SD, Denver and KC.

As for Oakland coming to the NFC West, there is the SF rivalry, there is also probably something simmering from the old LA days with the Rams. If two teams had to switch conferences Oakland and Seattle make the most sense.

I'm pretty sure the president would have to declare Martial law in California twice a year if the Niners & Raiders were in the same division.

We would definitely rip the Body Bag Game title from the Eagles and Redskins.

The Seattle raiders switch makes sense, but the current rivalry with the seasquawks has been great. I want Seattle in the division long enough for this team to climb over them on the way to a super bowl win.

I'd rather see this move happen next year (I know it won't) so we can beat them at Levi's in Super Bowl L.

Lets see....

Giants and Dodgers fans stab or maim each other.

Niners and Raiders fans kill or maim each other.

When the NFL can't even hold Niners/Raiders PRESEASON games because of the danger involved, I doubt the NFL wants any part of the Niners & Raiders in the same division. I kicked it once with a group of Niner fans (only one I can remember is "RaiderHater") who would mob the Coliseum during the annual preseason game, trying to take over the enemy territory. Talking ****, etc. That stuff would not be good during the regular season. And the playoffs?! The NFL would be nuts to increase the current animosity between the teams.

At least people in Seattle are too hopped up on heroin to actually want to fight (zing).

Raiders v SF is the only matchup that instead of bobble heads they'll hand out kevlar vests.

Return to San Francisco 49ers
