I am glad the Heats lost, preseason or not.

Why? They're not the team to beat anymore. The Cavs are now.

Don't sleep on Miami. They may not be the team to beat but they are still very, very good. Probably better than us to be honest.

I just don't like the Heat, I think they may be a 6 or 7 seed this season though.

I hate Wade, but I enjoy seeing my boy Ennis doing well.

Hopefully Wade will have a season ending injury so my conscious can be at peace

he's doing pretty well, the Heat board are going nuts over him.

he got 17 pts today on 5/6 shooting today against cleveland and got 14pts, 10 rebs and 5 assists the game before.

i really do think his year in Perth helped develop his game. Playing with a team of vets who forced him to commit to team play and defence.

The only way the Heat are better than us is if Wade is healthy enough to play over 70 games in the reggie season.

Wade, Deng, and Bosh are solid.

Bosh is going to have a great year as he wont be relegated to being a spot up 3 PF in the corner with Lebron not there.

I don't know if we are better, but I can't say they are better than us. They just lost the best player in the game. They lost other key pieces, Battier and others.

I think the one thing people overlook is how much LeBron covered up for Wade on nights he was hurt and on nights he sat out. No one on that roster or combined can effect the game as much as he did when he basically replaced Wade some nights. They were 18-10 when he didn't play. They won't be anywhere near that this year. If he sits out 28 games again this year (who knows if he will, really interested on how they handle Wade this year) I wouldn't doubt that it is an 8-10 game swing in that record.

and the easy path to a ring for lebron starts again - every good team will suffer a big loss, meanwhile the cavs will coast thru to the finals perfectly healthy (reverse jinx alert).

Wizards - Beal broken hand
OKC - Durant broken foot
Chicago - Rose has his leg amputated
Toronto - Derozan get in a fight with Lowry and they both break their fists
Clippers - Paul gets punched in the nuts and then breaks his back flopping afterwards
Spurs/Rockets/Mavs - entire team quarantined for the season for precautionary measures.

Is 6-8 weeks for this type of injury optimistic?

The same injuries that pave a path for Lebron also help us though. We're going to have our way with the Pacers, Wizards and possibly Bulls if they lose Rose. Who is left other than Lebron and the Cavs? Raptors? We have an opportunity for a great head start and if Rose gets injured we could be battling Lebron for the 1 seed. Kyrie is kind of fragile.

With or without Rose we should be able to compete with the Bulls.

In the mean time, we do have new pieces in our starting line-up. I kind of expect us to start off with some record of 10-10 just because it might take time for everyone to adjust.

Of course, 10-10 last year would have granted you the third place in the East.

Ads on jerseys seem to be coming in the near future. According to the new tv deal the NBA logo was moved to the back to make room for a small ad patch to go on the front. The Ad will be from whatever major company a team signs a deal with. It hasn't happened yet because the revenue breakdown has not been figured out.
