Boozer will stick as the starting 4 the entire year and get his 30 minutes.

Looks like a bunch of tired and hurt guys... I'm hoping that the fact that the injuries are not too serious, it's early, and getting in crazy cardio now will be good things. The team we put out tonight would have gotten trounced by Swaggy, Lin, Davis, X, & Clarkson too.

Wes though.... waste of player. Brian Cook as a 2nd year player was better than Wes. uggg

Do you think it's an adjustment issue for Wes? Trying to focus on being the defensive stopper Kobe and Scott want him to be, maybe taking him out of his comfort zone?

Wes never had a comfort zone. He was always a bit crap, which is why he's been signing 1 year min deals ever since.

I thought he showed promise for a while last season... But it seemed to leave him towards the end. I thought maybe he just hit the wall.
Then I didn't think Kobe would waste his time with him if he didn't see something in him that would warrant that... Although, Kobe could just have been using him as a foil to get in shape.

Wes has all of the physical tools but he has the bball IQ of a coconut. Last year D'Antoni made it simple for him: "get ball: 1) open? shoot ball 2) not open? pass". This year I bet he's learned many tips from Kobe in the summer and he's thinking too much trying to apply everything in game.

Hey, maybe we'll be lucky and it is. He's never settled into one role his entire career so maybe that will help in time and maybe he's also feeling worn down from the training. I do think it's a lot of just missing a killer instinct, though.

he's a low lvl role player, at this point in his career its hopeless to expect anything more than what he's shown us so far in his career.

I really can't imagine how someone as big as that cannot grab a rebound to save his life. Draymond Green, a good 4 inches shorter than him was batting away boards over his head. This **** couldn't catch a ball thrown straight at him and for some odd reason we were posting him up like he is Pau Gasol.

If the Lakers had Draymond Green, he'd be our MVP.
