is this the yearly screaming school kids game?

if so, i want to see LP attend and get loaded before the game, teach the little ones some new swear words, teach them how to fall down with grace and then show them the correct way of pooping your pants.

that's an education no money can buy.

Probably better to rest him and keep him fresh till the regular season. We'll be seeing Lance handling the ball a lot more- whether that's a good or bad thing, remains to be seen

 "Let Lance Stephenson and PJ Hairston show you suckaz how to ball with a buzz."

Anyway, my little sister is going to that game, I'm hoping that she'll be able to get some free stuff to bring back to me.

Cool. I'd say to rest him for another game or two. I hope he get a game in before the regular season to keep his rhythym. He was looking sharp.

I dunno, I think it's kinda sad that the game doesn't pre-empt daytime programming. which would you rather hear?

Bold prediction: This years Pistons team will be like last years Bobcats. They will fly under the radar most of the season and sneak into the playoffs as a 6-8 seed. Josh Smith has already stated that he was uncomfortable playing SF last year and Van Gundy has said he will be playing primarily PF this year and Drummond/Smith/Monroe won't be on the court together very much. I would feel a lot more confident about this prediction if Brandon Jennings wasn't their PG but oh well.

If they trade Greg Monroe, KCP, pick for Rajon Rondo, I think they'd be a 6th seed. Drummond/Smith/Butler/Meeks/Rondo is a pretty good 5 if Smith never shoots jumpers

No doubt. I think they will make a massive leap with their defense similar to how we did last season. They actually had an average offense but an absolutely horrible defense despite all the defensive talent they had. I think Van Gundy will have a similar effect on their defense as Cliff did for ours and whip them into an at least above average defensive team in no time at all. There is no way a team with Drummond and Smith holding down the paint should not be a good defensive team. Again, if it wasn't for Brandon Jennings...

My daughter's 8th grade class in SC is making the trip up for the game today. They are all excited about seeing the Hornets.

There is pie available. Second slice was most delicious. Same as last game, the stadium video screen feed. These kids look super hyped to be there.

I know the 11am start is no good for everyone with regular work hours in the states, but I'm really enjoying the fact I can watch this game at 5pm Central European Time rather than the usual 1am start. Hope we have an early game on MLK Day too.
