Hope Nash can play some games. He can be in the player-coach role this year and mentor Jeremy Lin. Kobe and Nash can make Lin a stronger player. I think Kobe can help Clarkson more than Nash though, he doesn't strike me as a point guard but more a playmaking 2 guard. Lakers need a Zach Randolph type.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) — Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Nash has missed his third straight practice after injuring his back while carrying bags.
Coach Byron Scott said Nash had "a little bit of a setback" earlier Wednesday while carrying bags.
Scott says Nash "heard a twinge" in his back, and the coach suspected it was a back spasm. The Lakers don't know how long the two-time NBA MVP will be out of action.
The 40-year-old Nash was able to play in just 15 games last season while struggling with nerve root irritation. The Lakers are trying to keep Nash healthy during training camp, but he hasn't practiced since asking to leave Sunday's exhibition game with an unspecified health problem.
Jeremy Lin also has a sprained ankle, but the point guard ran in practice Wednesday.

in the deadline, im pretty sure Mitch would move him and fillers for an impact player... we will see.

Thanks for the honesty.

Randle?

Maybe some of his game. Zach is tenacious around the boards, not sure if that's Randle's thing. Have to see more of the kid. I think the team needs a tough-minded big.

he could've gotten a medical retirement, gotten his money, help the teams cap situation rather than put us through this garbage...hate is well deserved.
