Jefferson had a sorry preseason and started off the season hurt last year as well.

Patience, patience, patience.

I cannot for the life of me understand why we didn't resign Tolliver. We could have signed him for almost nothing and the way it is looking he maybe would have ended up our starting PF for some amount of time. He is probably even worse on defense than Marvin but Marvin still can't seem to guard anyone anyways and Tolliver is a straight up sniper from deep. I know it is the preseason but considering how skeptical I was of the signing in the first place it is hard to ignore how utterly useless Marvin has been so far. I'm sure he'll still end up shooting a respectable percentage but unless he can start defending or have a career year from deep it is hard to see this working out at this point.

Last preseason Ben Gordon shot 44% from three and scored 10 ppg in under 20 mpg. How'd that turn out?

Agreed. History isn't exactly on marvin's side either. I never had a good feeling about this signing, not at this price
