Re: Preseason: Spurs @ Suns
Great game to be at. This team is going to be fun to watch this year.
- Bled is going to be great this year. Thomas too. Bledsoe got up for 2 massive blocks, crowd went nuts.
- If Archie can keep hitting threes, he's going to be unreal. He already has fantastic defensive instincts.
- TJ has great body control when attacking the basket. He takes the contact and has the strength to finish.
- Green looks a little out of sorts. Like he knows his minutes are under pressure. His shots look a little more like chucking that usual.
- Plumlee just looks godawful. He is terrible in the pick and roll. No fluidity in his roll to the basket, he always has to collect himself and the Defense has time to rotate. He's not attacking the glass either. It's just weird because he has the physical attributes to do it all, but he just hasn't seemed to put it together yet.
- Spurs whole offense was dribble over screens and Jack a long jump shot over the screener. They were hitting early but couldn't sustain it. They have this great motion to their offense that allows even the scrubbiest of scrubs to be effective.
- we had a lot of poor defensive IQ plays and it was actually via most of our veteran players. Just boneheaded breakdowns of people failing to rotate and guys been left wide open for back cuts. Fortunately our rooks and Sophs don't seem to have this problem - was especially pleased in how Ennis/Goodwin/Warren didn't leave their feet and were smart defensively.

Re: Preseason: Spurs @ Suns
I cringed when Sarver made those comments. THIS IS PRESEASON! How can you call out a team for sitting out guys in preseason?
Sarver needs to sit on the sidelines and let McDonough, Babby, and Horny run the show.

You guys are ridiculous... he is giving our fans their money back in a game our team won in a blow out and you're hating on him for it? If the roles were reversed and San Antonio's owner was giving cash back to the fans after the Suns didn't show up people would be saying "If only we had an owner like that!!! You know cheap ass Sarver would never do that!"
Sarver has his flaws... plenty of them, but ragging on him for this is a joke.

He said 'gift' not money back.
They could be old Joe Klien bobble heads for all we know.

We might need an update on this.

I found a way to watch Rise network from outside of Phoenix. It involves proxy stuff. If it's ok by the mods, I'd like to share it with you guys.

Or Michael Beasley Suns jerseys...on second thought, couldn't be that, they didn't produce enough of those in the first place...oh, duh, when they run out of Beasley, they'll send out the remaining stock of Wesley Johnson jerseys...yep, that must be it!
But hey, the Spurs deserve this, IMO. They would never sit those guys out of a home game, so I don't blame Sarver for this "shot across the bow", as it were. It was a savvy business move on Sarver's part.
I wonder if the media will make a big deal out of it? Nevermind...yep, it's just the type of story that ProBasketballTalk would jump all over...

Kerrsed's and-1 probably means it's ok, so here it goes:
Go here: http://letushide.com/ip/66.85.131.18/fr ... ted_States
You're gonna use the HTTP one, to see how to do it go here: http://letushide.com/faq/How_to_use_Proxy
When you're done go to: http://www.nba.com/suns/suns-preseason- ... 10-16-2014
If the video gives an error go back to system default (which is "use system proxy settings" on Firefox), then without refreshing or anything just press "retry" button and the video should start playing.

I access it from NOLA via a VPN. Private Internet Access has a node in Phoenix apparently.

Amazing. It was so much fun to watch. The Spurs couldn't defend it. It was hilarious.

Yeah we have to enclose a return envelope - he'll probably just send out a letter with a voucher for tix to another game. Won't be money back as the tickets were free to begin with! (They were giving them out at the front of the arena pregame).
And Frank - believe it or not I actually saw a guy in a Beasley Jersey
he was about 400 pounds though haha.. Maybe it was the REAL Beasley...

Fans who were in the lower bowl Thursday night will receive a $50 credit that can be applied to tickets, merchandise or food at US Airways Center. Fans in the upper bowl will receive a $25 credit.

Blew the game wide open. They were playing 3 guards too (Belinelli was the SF) and when they did that we just ripped them to pieces. I think we'll look to exploit it this season any time the opposition plays a SG at the SF (that Goran is capable of guarding anyway).

Bledsoe's block to IT's pass to Dragic for the half buzzer was really cool. That lineup will be very fun.

Hey Sarver, Suns fans don't give a **** about not seeing those piddly ass, fugly, thug Spur jabronis. In fact, we love any time we bludgeon their bitchmade team.
No need to apologize. Just sit down and shut up.
