They downgraded their PG, but upgraded their SF and C significantly.

They're going to be real good this year.

Moose and Augustine the only ones to show tonight.

Monroe has been down right awesome through the pre season.

C - Andre Drummond / Joel Anthony
PF - Greg Monroe / Josh Smith / Jonas Jerebko
SF - Caron Butler / Kyle Singler / Cartier Martin
PG - D.J. Augustin / Brandon Jennings / Spencer Dinwiddie
SG - Kentavious Caldwell-Pope / Jodie Meeks / Spencer Dinwiddie

Detroit would love Stan on opening night with that lineup. :)

My girl just told me about the game. My goodness, it sounded like we played like sh*t tonight! Smith, Jennings, and Drummond gotta play better man.

Jennings/Smith played like Jennings/Smith. Nothing to see here folks; move along, move along.

Agree 150%

This is clearly our best starting lineup.

ya, its his lack of a secondary move, however the more that dre uses that hook shot, the more opponents are going to try to read it, opening up a secondary move that dre just naturally has to figure out as the option is there. What is encouraging is that he is somewhat contesting(its preseason) and offensively he is further along than last year

Its more than just lack of a secondary move. There was a time in the game when Dre sealed his man and DJ threw it into him. Instead o just going straight up or turning around and dunking it, he dribbled away from the basket and shot a hook.

i agree, he was definitely hesitant when he got the ball, while i agree he needs to be patient, i think as soon as he see's tobias harris on him, he should start backin him down. The hook shot is his go to move, that's what he's looking for every time, and i think that's what the coaches want him to do. Minimal dribbling and decisive move

Safe to say this is a marathon and not a sprint. I can't get too excited about anything other than the process, and the philosophies behind it all. Mo-Cheeks didn't develop this team throughout his tenure. It's just completely evident.
