2014 MLB Playoffs Thread

Post#981 » by Da Schwab » Fri Oct 17, 2014 9:59 pm

I'm actually kinda glad the Dodgers didn't make it this far. There would've been way too much blue cursive in one series.

^^^ not cool bro.

Poor Ned Yost is in over his head.
He better get the 1st 2 in KC. No way he's gonna keep up with BB when it turns to an NL game.

Giants were a better team on the road this year and now with the DH, it will allow Bochy to put in Morse at DH at the 6th spot to add even more power to the lineup

not drawing any connections between the decent 89 (?) win team u were in the regular season and the magical October even year team you are now.

well, good thing Peavy is an FA and even better that Ned Colletti isn't making the calls anymore.

he most certainly would trade for or sign any Giant/ former Giant he could.
Nothnx Jeff

Lord Friedman will have none of that on his watch.

Friedman loves team control though, and Mac Williamson has lots of it. He has like a 70 grade team control on the 20-80 scale. He's elite in the area of team control.

He also has a Johnny Bravo level jawline.

'Don't sleep on Mac Williamson.

two questions.

1) Is the love for team control genuine or was it a product of payroll constraints in Tampa?

2) why is the kid 24 and only in high A ball?
looks like a guy that will come up and be clutch for you in an even year but wouldn't be great anywhere else.
nothnx.

I think the long layoff hurts the Royals as well. When you're as red hot as they are, the worst thing in the world is to not play.

Won't affect the Giants since they've been here before and know how to handle these long in between series wait times.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

Good lord, you are obsessed.

It annoys me. what do you want me to say Stan?

brb nobody except my city cares if I win or lose.
brb house money every time I step on the field.
brb 6th (or is it 5th) largest payroll in baseball still seen as small market spenders because Dodgers out spent us by $100 Ms to save their damn franchise.

Say whatever you want. I love following the Giants, but it appears that you love to follow them even more. What do you want me to say?

Rivalries aren't fun if you don't keep up with your rival.
