Its a silly question the current Pacers are much better than the Raptors will that domination continue I think not.
The team is getting older and they are basically capped out. They will lose Stephenson next year because a team like Philly will throw the Max at him and the Pacers can't match that.

Granger will leave he is obviously a shadow of what he was but still useful.
They don't have a pick this year and they will have starters like West 34 at the start of next season with one more remaining, George Hill will be 28 with 3 years @ 8 million, Hibbert 28 with 2 more years, Obviously PG is young but getting Max and no starting SG.

Bench signed Copeland 30, Scola 34 ( think there is a buyout), Mahimni 28, CJ Watson 30 and Soloman Hill 24 with almost $67 million committed. with 9 players.
Frankly rather be the Raptors than the Pacers next year.

So sweet being right obviously unhappy with PG injury but everything else basically correct.

The rookie nurkic on Denver is going to be real good. His offensive game is so polished, and he's only 20.

If you could re-do the draft, would you select Sullinger over Ross?

Everyone brings up Drummond but Sullinger is becoming a **** man before our eyes.

Been on the Sully bandwagon since his rookie year. I saw him vs the Knicks (the infamous Melo Honey Nut Cheerios) game one night and he destroyed Tyson Chandler and was just creating havoc in the paint with KG. Chandler tried talking **** to him and he just proceeded to make Tyson his bitch.

Dude is a beast.

What was the big knock on Sullinger around draft time, his back? I'm always a bit nervous with bigs and medical red flags, but a guy like Dejuan Blair has proven that even though he has big knee concerns, he's still able to find himself a niche in the NBA. Sully has looked good...21/19 tonight.

Yes it was his back. People in the NBA were saying that his back was going to force him to have a short career

Without the back concerns, Sullinger should have been a Top 10 pick at worst. I remember until the back concerns came up, he was pegged in mock drafts around 6-9

Not a surprise. Kobe's been a average-to-poor defender for years now (that last all-defence team was a travesty). Funny thing is, you expect older players to decline one-on-one against faster guys, and instead start to work more of the old-man game - playing within the coach's system, funnelling to the right spots, rotating to where you're supposed to be, cutting out the gambling that you're no longer athletic enough to recover from. (MJ was a pretty decent example of this during his later years...oddly enough a great example is Jose Calderon as we all know - he was never quick enough to keep guards in front of him and now almost any guard can blow by him, but at least he is technically sound and usually in the right position for help and transition defence.)

Kobe has not been there over the past few years. A lot of it likely stems from the insane workload he handles on the offensive end at his age - at some point you can't do it all and he reached that point several years ago - but he's never quite managed to transition to playing smart, team-oriented defence with a focus on just doing the right things, being in the right place, and nothing more. Watch most Lakers games in the past couple of years when Kobe's been playing and you'll definitely see at least one whoops-Kobe moment on defence.

I was just reminded about our boy Clint Capela, who many wanted us to draft with the 20th pick.

FYI, he hasn't played in pre-season (groin injury it seems) and WT yesterday says he'll spend most of the year in the D-League
