The man had a game winning dunk against the Wolves over 2 people after a nice spin move on Anthony Bennett.

The guy is big time.

Isn't a spin move on Bennett about as impressive as a spin move on Amare?

And the answer is 'Yes'.

He's better.

Just kidding.

Jabari was pretty rough the first few games, but he's picked it up in the last two. It's a shame that there's no highlights from the game against Minnesota, because it sounds like he and Giannis both had their best games, and all we have from it is Jabari's game winning spin-dunk (which was really nice).

It should be interesting though. Gonna be like my 2nd chance to see the Bucks so far this pre-season, so hopefully they look decent tonight, but we'll see. It isn't exactly a great team lol.

It would actually be fun to see the two going at each other.

Alright, its been a week. Things I'm looking for:

- Signs of a real rotation. This should mean DNPs for those that are definitely not making the team at this point––Sanchez, Galloway, etc. I expect Travis Wear to get some burn as part of his extended evaluation, which he has more than earned. If I'm Fisher, though, I've already made up my mind that he's stolen Outlaw's spot.

- Playing time for Cole. It is beyond bizarre to me that Fish didn't play him at all in the last two games. He isn't a bad passer and can make those hook shots from the mid-post area with pretty good efficiency. Lets see him back out there with the team... we didn't re-sign him for no reason.

- The second unit actually sticking to the system. They've played at a pretty good pace and with good energy, but theres been a lot of chucking and bricking going on between Timmy and STAT (when he's played). I want to see these guys put the effort in to stick to the system and get open looks for the perimeter guys, who are all pretty good shooters in a catch-and-shoot scenario.

- More Melo. This is important because of how much the offense revolves around him––he'll be on the floor with the second unit plenty during the season, so they need more time to gel together as a unit. Maybe his presence will inspire more ball movement.

- Better chemistry -> Cleaner passes –> Fewer turnovers. This one takes the most time, but with a week of practice under their belts these guys should be noticeably more in sync when it comes to making passes. Because we're passing so much more, we won't continue our trend of being among the best in the league in keeping the ball (our biggest statistical strength over the past few years) this year, but hopefully as these guys get used to each other on the court the chemistry will lead to cleaner passes. Hopefully this will be improved tonight.

- Basking in the image of a Bargs-less squad for now. One more year, people.

I think Acy is starting the season as the starter. Stoudemire is not going to start.

It'll be Dally, Acy, Melo, Shump, Calderon.

If Fisher was making any changes on tonight's lineup I was hoping it would be J Smith at the 4 over Acy

Fish is probably just seeing how he looks with this group. If Stat plays better with guys who know what they're doing in the system somewhat already.

Chris Herring ‏@HerringWSJ 9m9 minutes ago

Asked Fisher what gives him confidence in Amare defensively at the 5. Fisher said his defensive system should provide STAT w enough help

Ian Begley ‏@IanBegley 10m10 minutes ago

Fisher asked about Amare's defense at center: "It's not just his job to protect the rim. It's not just his job to save the day."

Yeah I think he's hoping to help Stoudemire by experimentation. But hard to see either Calderon or Dalembert not starting. Melo a lock. Acy is in the driver's seat.

Shumpert is the significant favorite as well.
