I'm not kicking him to the curb at all; there is just no reasonable explanation for putting him ahead of Pablo on the depth chart.

Pablo can't finish in the paint and the triangle has lots of cuts to the basket

Pablo only runs the pick and roll, which isn't used heavily

also he's old

That is the one thing that stuck out to me last year about him, he rattled Melo then too. I think maybe it was his energy level.

Next thought: if Fish is really low on Pablo, how about giving Shump a little burn at the 1? Just keep his unwarranted confidence that he gets whenever he makes a three in check, and I think its worth a preseason experiment.

Just outside the lottery. He went #15 - same as Frederic Weis in 1999 :banghead:

I swear we stay getting played and trolled in the draft.

It's so true. In the 2 deepest drafts (arguably) of all-time, we were loaded with picks.

96 we took John Wallace, Walter McCarty, Dontae Jones

03 we took Mike Sweetney, Maciej Lampe, Slavko Vranes

Our best draft in the past 20 or so years was most likely 2005 when we got Channing Frye, David Lee & Nate Robinson.

All things considered, I thought we had a decent draft this year, with what we had to work with.

Is JR Smith guarding OJ Mayo? Mayo is the slightly less crappy version of JR Smith. The kind of guy people keep believing in because of his "talent." They both suck.

He's a very good passer, though, and can drain the three. He's really a poor man's Jose, which isn't the worst thing for the system. At least I trust him not to turn it over.
