No John Wall, No Bradley Beal, No Martell Webster, No Paul Pierce, No Glen Rice, No Kris Humphries

What did you expect against a fully healthy Pelicans lineup? Oh yeah, its pre-season

I said supporting cast, people talked about how their bench was better than ours. I fail to see that. And you know we play pre season too and the Raptors are 5-1. Regardless, the Raptors have so far shown more promise in regards to their depth.

And Humphries isn't part of their supporting cast? Webster? Rice?

Analyzing a team in pre-season

BTW The Wizards are 4-2 in pre-season since you care so much about pre-season records

If Mirotic could develop some handles he'd be a lot more deadly off the dribble and he can make the defense pay when they force him left like Waiters did twice where he ended up forcing a fallaway on the move.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

Rose has looked a lot better than I expected him to, and that's coming from someone who thought he'd come back pretty strong. If him and Gasol can stay healthy, the Bulls could easily be the top team in the East. I've got them in my top 3 for sure.

Hasn't Gasol been falling off the map for a couple years now ? Not sure why everyone expects his resurgence in Chicago.

I don't know about falling off the map. He hasn't regressed in rebounding or blocks. He's one of the best passing bigs in the league still. Solid low post scorer with a reliable elbow jimmy. Maybe his stock dropped during the D'Antoni era, but Pau is still a nice talent and a great vet to have on a playoff squad.

The Bulls are poised to have an awesome year if everything falls into place. Obviously a lot depends on Rose's health status, but they have a really nice mix of veterans with exciting young rooks. East favourites to me if they stay healthy.

Most people attribute his falling off to the play style and coaching in LA, and it's tough to call it that considering he averaged 17-10-3 last season despite all of this.

Really he just had one bad year in 2012-13, so I'm not sure why anyone would write him off.

He's still one of the most talented bigs in the NBA - maybe even like top 3 - and now in a smaller role with a strong roster around him again. He'll fit in very nicely with the Bulls.

It'll be really interesting to see how/if Thibs takes advantage of having two of the better passing bigs in the game on the floor at the same time.
