Seraphin isn't wearing the new jerseys with the NBA logo and championship patch on the back.

Weird.

Refs blew a jump ball between Porter and Fredette, Wizards ball with a timeout with 9 seconds and down by 3, Refs win all the way

what happened in the 4th? Was it just Preseaon garbage or did we finally get our O going again? I know it doesnt mean much since it was backups on backups but it would be nice to see if that 4th carried over into the NY game and also the season.

An Asik/Davis frontcourt pairing are going to stop a lot of shots inside but I guess they could have scored 18 points. Hopefully, Wall comes back soon.

Still watching 3rd quarter on DVR. So far this has looked like a 16 seed vs a 1 seed.

Pels are loaded.

I hope our guys don't get caught up in the hype. We're not that good.

I totally disagree. We are playing without Wall, Beal, Pierce, Hump, Web, and Rice. You dont thinik that changes things at all? Dont forget that we already beat them in NO earlier this preseason with alot of those guys

Thats 3 starters and 2 primary back ups.

And Ray Allen

They might have to go outside the players they are auditioning for 15th spot. The team has been horrible from 3 pt range this preseason. They can't go an entire month like that.

Word is Webby not due back until Dec.
Beal late Nov

Paul would have to be very productive from 3 land just to put a dent in all that miss 3 production. Oddly, he hasn't made a 3 yet in preseason so things look to be even worse then they really are.

http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/662/paul-pierce

But they still doesn't replace Beal and his back up who was Webster.

Good news is that Temple shot well tonight. But sadly, not from 3. But he is 3-8 the last 3 games from 3.

We are the 3rd worst in 3 percentage this preseason. Good news is OKC is 4th worse and SAS 6th worse. After all, its is only preseason. Stats can be misleading because of who is playing.

Wall is out with knee tendonitis.
Beal is out with a broken wrist.
Webster is out with a broken back.
Pierce is out with a knee bruise
Rice Jr. is out with a twisted ankle
Humphries is out with nerve damage in his hand.

I guess our starting backcourt is going to be the 38-year-old Andre Miller and a couple of his buddies from the YMCA.

This is going to get ugly quick. Can we just forfeit?

Thanks for the update Nate, I went to he gym and I feel great.

The offense was noticeably better in the second half. Ball moved better. Most of the one pass possessions usually ended with Seraphin in good position in the post.

I agree. I had been against signing Allen. But now I'm all in.

We need spacing badly. We are the exact opposite of where we were one year ago. We now have an abundance of serviceable bangers and have a decent back up pg. But until Beal and Webby come back, we have NO shooters.

Our offense may be a wreck but we still haven't allowed a single team over 100 PTs. I think that bodes well once we get a healthy lineup. Or offense can't be this bad.

We are Chicago 2013 :o

At least until our shooters return and Paul starts hitting from 3 again.

Not sure what happen to Otto. He didnt attempt even one 3 in 35 mins. He can't do that. He needs to get up a least 2 attempts in that amount of time.

I think Temple can get up a few and hit at a decent clips as well. But neither Otto or Temple are what I call shooters when compared to Beal and Webster. Those two can get hot and have shooter swag. Wall will target them just to drop 3s.

Injuries have clearly weakened our preseason showing. But other teams have their issues as well. Looks at OKC.

The problem with the lineups we rolled out with in that game was the fact that nobody could create off the dribble and pressure the defense. The best option was Miller, and no wing defender is going to play help defense and contest a no vert layup attempt. It really wasn't surprising to see the struggle to get 3 point attempts up.
