"Hornets center Cody Zeller skipped the contact portions of Wednesday practice while teammate and guard Lance Stephenson skipped the session altogether, leaving them uncertain for the Thursday preseason game against Indiana.

Zeller is dealing with a hand issue. Stephenson has a groin injury."

The starter is Walker, and all of these injuries is beginning to become rather worrisome.

The Hornets have been plagued with injury this preseason. Lance Stephenson (groin strain), Gerald Henderson (hamstring strain) and Noah Vonleh (ankle sprain) won’t play tonight. Cody Zeller (bruised wrist) and Marvin Williams (elbow contusion) both will try to play according to coach Steve Clifford, but there’s little benefit to pushing the issue in a preseason exhibition.

“I don’t want them getting bumped up again,” Clifford said. “As long as they don’t get hit, I think they’ll be OK.”

Clifford said Walker started shootaround, then told staff “My foot is killing me,” and went to the trainer’s room.

hendo lance or vonleh tonight. possibly no marvin, kemba or zeller as they are also dealing with injuries.

why risk it? just start roberts, neal, mkg, maxiel and biz. bring pargo, hairston and the unknown guys in for the rest of the minutes.

Make MKG our focal point on offense and tell him he has to put up no less than 20 shots.

Don't care if we win or lose, just want to see him look to score all night long.

Might as well just sit all of the starters outside of MKG for tonight's exhibition game and get as healthy as possible for the season opener against the Bucks

force feed MKG and biz and see how they handle it. at the very least it would be interesting.

but will will actually happen is pargo, neal and hairston will just shoot and shoot and shoot and shoot.
