Beginning of the End

"I'm really driven by seeing what I can do," Bryant said in a recent interview with CBSSports.com. "Seeing what I can do and what I can't do. I think that's exciting, to do all the work and try to build something anew, you know?"

Whether you view Bryant's latest comeback as the end or a new beginning, as triumphant or tragic, it is a transcendent moment. As Bryant, 36, prepares to take the floor for his 19th opening night, he has accepted that this is the final chapter.

"I've done the work, man. God knows, I've done the work," he said. "If Father Time gets the best, he gets the best. But it's not for a lack of effort."

An EXCELLENT article by Ken Berger of CBS. That actually digs unknown information for Kobe and his rehab. For instance, we all thought Kobe was working with Tim Grover like always during his rehab when he was away and silent. Per the article that wasn't the case. A really good read on the overall last chapter of one of the Lakers greats. How this story ends no one knows yet. But it makes this exciting theater to say the least...right? Good to see actually good journalist still exist in this era of social media

Good read. We should give Wesley a longer leash here.

Pretty long read. I'm excited for that movie. Should be the most candid Kobe piece out there.

we talk about dedication on here. No surprise Phil Jackson acknowledged Kobe work harder than Jordan. Make me wonder what if Kobe didnt have this kind motivation and dedication ? Or this is the differential between Beasley and LeBron ? Superstar just work harder than talented but lazy player.
