In a few days, it'll be the beginning of the end. Gonna be a sad day when he retires. I know a lot of people that aren't laker fans hate on him, but I'm gonna at least try to appreciate the few years we have left. Those "Kobe" moments won't be here for much longer.

Wonder who will be the message boards whipping boy then ? The younger generation of guys that watch NBA ball disgust me, they're so sissified. I'm glad Kobe was an assassin, I enjoy every minute that he tortured teams with his skill. Enjoyed him ramming 81 points right up in the Raptors guts. Enjoyed him knifing the Spurs time and time again in the playoffs.

But my question is who are these punks gonna talk about and hate on when he's gone ?

Simple answer Deep... whoever takes the reigns from Kobe is who the RealGM GB/PC clowns will hate on.

Tacking onto that assassin note, Kobe is probably the only guy left that doesn't give a damn what the media says and speaks his mind. Most other players are too scared to say what they really think and that's one thing I'm gonna really miss

It really is absurd. Are they just all mommas boys, or is it because the best player during their formative (a certain self-proclaimed "King") was like that, or both?

Magic, Larry, Mike, Kobe. Last of a dying breed. Lakers fan or not, we all need to cherish these next 2 years.

he also doesn't give a damn about FG%
some people take it as a bad thing, but sometimes having the confidence to shoot when things get rough will lead your way to 5 rings 8-)

seriously though he have the guts to keep shooting, like in 2013 when he hits a slump of where he hasnt hit like 30 three-pointers and he still shot like 34% from deep
