Cut him some slack, Giants fans. He definitely lost his cool. He owned up to it and apologized. His teammates/coaches, while acknowledging he made a mistake, are still supporting him. Fiery guy in an incredibly intense situation. Give him some space to learn from it.
As to the pitching...it's too easy to fixate on "5 home runs." The sample size is too small, as was his 0.00 ERA from the regular season. With the exception of game 2, he's pretty much dominated righties (regular season WHIP: 0.69; postseason WHIP: 0.86). He's obviously struggled a lot more against lefties.
