y not just taking up beaubois then?
I want the lakers to sign one more big man who can rebound and protect the rim. We have only one big man in Ed Davis who can do that, and our front court is pretty short.
With these injuries recently, a pg signing like beaubois is understandable and reasonable though.

He's not on their squad anymore. He was with the Lakers summer league team and wasn't invited to camp.

Oh, that's too bad...

Thanks for the honesty.

Now's the time to be creative and sneaky as hell... Think long term upside, not quick fix... I have a feeling there are some prospects out there that can be special for the future... I like the idea of trying to get the injury exception for Nash and trying to steal someone like Thompson. We don't need anyone else past their prime, or problem children that are wasting their talent... We need to be thinking about who we can pair with Randle that will make other FAs start thinking we might be a nice place to move the family...

Quite frankly Chase is garbage and a forward. I think the Lakers can do much better and should wait. An expiring contract like Nash is going to be worth much more in a few months. Just saying
