Is everybody okay with the trade that was just accepted now?

GoldenStateWarriors get: Roy Hibbert (85) , Doug McDermott (204)
OKC Thunder get: Steven Adams (144), Tim Hardaway Jr. (208)

The numbers in parenthesis denote their draft position. Kind of odd considering that the draft was just yesterday and the GoldenStateWarriors are getting the two higher picks. And iirc, both teams were at the draft too. Maybe the Reggie Jackson injury and George Hill injuries changed some perspectives? Maybe OKC Thunder bluffed and thought he could get a player he really likes in Adams later in the draft, but ended up missing out? I don't know...the trade doesn't seem super lopsided, but it is definitely a head-scratcher. What do you guys think? I'm thinking allow, but will listen to any rebuttals.

I think this trade is fair for both sides. Scott Brooks isn't the best of coaches so I think it's a 50/50 shot he plays Perk more than Adams at the C spot or vise versa. Mcbuckets helps me increase my 3's but THJ is the more efficient player and will help put up better PPG and FG% imo. Hibbert proved he was one of the best Centers in the league for THE FIRST HALF of last season. Then he just plummeted hard the second half. So all in all, this trade is a gamble on both sides and imo should be allowed.

Oh no, I definitely get it for your side. I'm just not getting why the OKC Thunder do it if they drafted Hibby at #85 last night.

Sorry man I can't do that trade. I think Sully is going to have a big year. His pre-season has been ominous. And actually I'd rather not start trading until the season starts so I can have a better idea of what I have.

I thought you wanted guards? If Nelson steps up like I think he will (terrifically coached team with Carlile) and starts racking up assists and 3's, would you be interested?

I've given up on assists, just trying to a cheap steals guy now. And not interested in Jameer, sorry man.

If I remember correctly you had C.J Miles as a sleeper. I might be interested in moving him.

Wasn't really sure on what to give you, but I sent you something.

No rebuttals from me (Denver Nuggets).
It seemed lopsided in GoldenStates favour at first but I am pretty high on Adams doing well this year, and also not a fan of the "Hibbert will play well this yr due to circumstances" camp (which evens out the trade for me)

It doesnt seem lopsided at all (Sacramento Kings) but i think overall okc got the better end of it. Doug McDermott may not get to see the floor that much and im not a fan of Hibbert at all. Adams and hardaway jr are sure locks to be heavy rotation players this upcoming season. But hey thats my two cents. Ive been ridiculed all day for skipping LeBron James and drafting Anthony Davis lol which btw im quite proud of my pick lol

I don't like it but I won't vote against it. I can see it for both sides, though a fair amount of speculation is going into this. But If Hibbert finds his scoring touch he could outproduce all those guys combined. GSW already has Ibaka, Drummond and Asik on his team, and you're giving him Hibbert? For that price? I would want Korver in return. But then again I don't like making trades until I know what I have. I'm not that high on Hardaway Jr either, but Adams could take a leap I guess.

Alright, I approved it. I think it's a pretty equal trade in the sense of projected production of the players, but I was just a bit confuzzled about the draft why OKC would draft Hibby if he was just going to trade him away for someone at the same position 60 picks later.

I see. Jameer doesn't really get steals.

I might come knocking when Wroten comes out hot and is getting 2 steals a game.

G Dieng is intriguing but C.J probably won't see much time. Then again his main competitor, Mo Williams, is no longer with the team.

It was hard to reject. CJ could be a sleeper.

Not worth Alec Burks consistent minutes.

I heard from a good source that adams will start and with the knicks backcourt deficiencies it came down to Hibbert and I am afraid of hibbert's confidence causing him to have another 7-4-1 streak that cost me last year. I do feel stupid about McDermott but is he better then hardaway? I don't know.

Both CJ's in the trade made your comment a bit confusing.

Lol I didn't even think about it until you brought it up

You need to involve Tobias Harris in the deal instead of McCollum.
