The Official ATL Tip-Off Thread!

Post#1 » by Hawk Eye » Tue Oct 28, 2014 6:54 am

I created this thread for all of us to discuss the before and after of our opening game against Toronto! I'm so excited the season is finally here! I hope Lou & Bebe play great but just not good enough to get Toronto that W lol

Let me be the first raptor "troll" to say good luck on the season, and I think your team is very underrated. If healthy I could see the Hawks right up there with the best in the east. Let's get it started. Also, thank you for Bebe, he's already one of my favorite personalities on the team. That's no intended to be a back handed compliment btw.

Appreciate it mate. It's nice to get some credit from outside fans. And I'll let that compliment slide this time...but next time.... :starwars

Almost that time again. Season's a marathon not a sprint, but whoever wins tomorrow will establish some nice early season momentum to work with, Air Canada Centre will be rocking.

No matter what happens this season I'm just happy to have basketball back.
It has been an interesting off-season for us as far as players go and management/ownership. It's time we focus on the game and our success.

I'll be flipping between the two.
If I was in my apartment right now I would have both on beside one another.
However, dealing with an injury at the moment.

Such a competitive game..everytime we go on a run Toronto answers right back with a run of their own. Korver is H-O-T

We really need to change things up and go on a much needed run.
We have plenty of time left to accomplish it.

Kyle Korver amazes me all the time. 5-6 from 3. We should be very happy that he wanted to stay with us and I hope he wants to finish out his contract with us.

We've got to go on a run NOW. I don't care if it's a 7-0, 8-0, or 9-0 run. We just need to get a run going

This game was over with Lou Williams 3rd qtr buzzer beater.

Sloppy defense and passing. Mill sap and AH look rusty.

We made a run in the 4th but Toronto was up by too much.
Terrible free throw shooting by us.
Toronto went to the line 33 times to our 15. The games not even over yet.

Return to Atlanta Hawks
