Lol. He has a great game and you still get on this thread bashing him. You are getting to where you have about as much credibility on here as bobsbuddy or the UNC fan who wants Felton over Walker.

I don't know what you're reading. I just complimented him on coming thru for us tonight and hope he keep it up. I've been talking about the taste of crow all thru the game thread.

Yeah, I don't know what I am reading either. Something about a bum staying ready to shoot because he will be wide open since he is so terrible no NBA defense in their right mind would ever consider him an offensive threat and him being overpaid, or something like that. Awesome compliment..

Lol. All depends on how you read it.

If you take it out of context all I said was that he'll be open for a lot of shots and as long as he's making them he will be a key player for us and make Cho look like a mastermind never mind the nonsense I was talking about.

See, now that's a compliment.

Remember when I got called homer because I claim they will be successful?

Every player in the NBA can play but I'd say at least 90 percent of them are in the wrong situation to produce.

Cho has collected under appreciated talent and built a freaking playoff team out of it, on the (former) laughingstock of the league.

Marv will play his role and be a great leader and team mate.

EDIT-What a bum

Agreed. This only reads one way and that is negative. Bum and terrible are commonly mistaken for positive terms though so maybe that is what he meant.

Maybe Marvin Williams feel at home in a multitude of ways when he play in North Carolina. Williams was a 'big' for the Hornets last night, making shots when they wanted & needed them. I hope he can keep up this type of play, and be a factor in Charlotte wrapping up home court advantage in the Eastern Conference Playoffs

I obviously haven't seen the game yet, but, man, two jumpers in the overtime en route to a 17 on good percentage? This might be as good as it gets, couldn't it?

It's as good as it needed to be and what we can expect from him, but I think he still has the every blue moon 25-30 point performance in him, so we may see better. I'm obliged that Williams has excepted his role as a role player, whereas all he has to do is be patient and ready

If he keeps up this kind of play we have a top tier starting five in the NBA.

I'd bet that he won't surpass the 25-point mark this year.

But then again I didn't see the game last night so it would be fair to say that I don't know what I'm talking about.

He knocked down open shots and some not-so-open shots as well. He's made me eat my words in one night.

24 hour shifts? What do you do? That sucks.

a combination of working at reception and working with data and all kinds of paperwork at a hospital.

suits me as something to do on the side while I study at university.

and, in a way, I'm glad to get the better pay for working nights (which basically means sleeping three or four hours and the rest of them just figuring out what to do to pass time, listening to podcasts, reading books, etc.) and being able to rack up hours so quickly. in my case, there's a benefit to working one 24-hour shift than going to work three times.

Marvin had a good shooting game but lets not forget our interior defense was crap last night. Zeller was the only big in our rotation that put up any resistance inside. I think we are getting a little too high on Marvin due to his role in the late comeback. I still think Zeller needs to start and the two can split minutes and we close with whoever the matchup dictates will be better. I liked Marvs shooting but I still dont see us having even a league average defense with him starting at PF and Maxiel as the backup C. Marvin did a good job staying with his man but the freaking Bucks were getting layups and dunks at will most of the game. We are going to have to win shootouts on a nightly basis with these rotations and I dont seriously think we can expect Marvin to continue shooting that well. I liked a lot of things I saw from him but Im just being real. I think hed be better served paired with Biyombo in the second unit most of the time.

Marvin wasn't the reason our defense was bad - Jabari and Sanders weren't the ones doing the scoring.

MKG was mostly on Jabari in the halfcourt and just because their men werent the ones scoring doesnt mean it wasnt Al, Marvin, and our other bigs fault the defense was bad. Its their job to protect the paint and rim and they didnt do it at all. Marvin is the worst interior defender of all of them. There is no denying that. The Bucks team as a whole were scoring around the rim like it was nothing and a couple players got hot from deep despite good perimeter defense.
