As story indicates, idea of Marc Gasol taking big man baton from Duncan is something Spurs would not complain about - http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nb ... /18176469/

this is why wins and losses do matter this year

Well the Spurs will win more than we do this year. But in the end, I don't think your record matters too much in free agency. Being horrible over a few years may have taken us out of the LeBron running. But that's LeBron, coming off his playoff failure.

I think a guy like Gasol will weigh money, city, cast. The Spurs will still have Parker and some pieces, but hopefully Melo evens that out. He won't want San Anton over NYC as a city. We got a shot.

of course it matters. the money is the same everywhere, so winning becomes the priority. marc gasol realizes he only adds so many wins to a team. the knicks need to make the playoffs to show they're not that bad without him.

Best thing to do is have Larkin run as fast as he can side line to side line. Back and forth over and over without the ball. That should really confuse the defense.

The Spurs have to pay Kawhi also. Idk if they could afford Gasol but he is a perfect replacement for Timmy

i say we sign Herb to play backup C again. He can't do worse then what we have either and that might be the only way to lift his curse.

i love this kid man, he doesn't have crazy athleticism but he's very skilled for his size, nice IQ, big hands, and very polished with his back to the basket.

I like Jahlil and Karl towns, i think Towns probably has the higher ceiling but i dont know i think id probably still take jahlil number 1. I'm for sure gonna be keeping a eye on these two dudes this year.

Calf strains sucks, especially past 30. They tend to linger and linger and like hamstrings until you REALLY, without thinking, just in the moment, test it in a real game, you don't know if it's fully healed.

I play a lot of tennis and I can play 95% speed no problem but a week ago I went to go hard to my left and pushed off and the calf tightened up on me and I had to call it a night. A week later I have no pain, can run fine, but I'm still in the back of my mind not trusting it fully.

Sounds like Prigs thought he was out of the woods and then went to test it pre-game and it flaired up again. Getting old sucks. These are injuries that just don't usually happen at 22 or 25.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

You are forgetting about a kid named Kawai Leonard --- who would you rather play with if Gasol....Melo or Leonard? I take Leonard but hopefully Marc doesn't have same opinion.

This team is gonna suuuuck. I'm ridin' high on the tankwagon as long as we don't do anything stupid like trade for Kobe. Hopefully some of the kids look good.
