The best part is when he drills the ref with his mouthpiece!

I mean who throws a mouth piece mid game?

haha damn. I missed that the first time around.

Not going to complain but I'm surprised he didn't get T'ed or even ejected for that. I think Amir Johnson got suspended for that last year.

I'm just amazed that MKG had the confidence to do it. That alone is pretty big.

haha, that's why I made the comment about him taking matters in his own hands when it comes to refs.

no more of them treating him like a rookie. he'll **** throw his mouthpiece at you, if you do so.

  that reminds me of when Udonis Haslem threw his mouthpiece at a ref in the playoffs. Love seeing this fire in MKG!

yooooo I didn't realize he threw his mouthpiece at the ref until I just saw the gif. LMAO. That's epic.

I'm PSYCHED about MKG. He's playing like he's our best all around player honestly. His confidence is sky high right now.

He was also super pumped during the game last night. Normally he's pretty energetic but last night he was super up. At the end of regulation he ran to the other side of the court and hugged/high fived fans. Crazy.

For anyone concerned that he’ll revert back to his old ways, he says that won’t be an issue at all.

“I don’t remember my old shot. At all. I don’t remember it. I work every day on my new shot. I have a routine I do every day and that’s what I stick with.”

Look out! This guy is on a mission this season. He'll only get better from here. In a couple years he should be able to knock down an open threepointer with his mindset and the magic of Mark Price, making him even more deadly.

A Gerald Wallace meets Bruce Bowen type.

Everybody wants to talk about Lance but MKG is the guy who can propel this team to the next level. I know this seemed insane just yesterday, but if he were to average an efficient 15 a game there's no telling how good we could be.

This has always been my stance, and why I've always been perturbed to them ignoring and/or not trying to develop him offensively. MKG isn't offensively challenged, just developed some bad habits en route to the NBA since he was always able to still dominate his amateur competition in spite of it. If MKG can become at least a 15 points per game player, it will go a long way into building Charlotte's future success

This is a great article on MKG's shot and what it could mean for him.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2250 ... ickstarter

Some great quotes in here:

The improvement was simply astounding, inspiring Bleacher Report's own Joel Cordes—an NBA assistant editor and noted Minnesota Timberwolves fan—to tell me, "If this mid-range stuff holds up during the next couple months, I'm kidnapping Mark Price (nicely, of course) and presenting him to [Ricky] Rubio as a Christmas gift."

No matter how much his shooting percentages dip after that stellar start, there's a new element to his game. It's one that opens up everything, making it easier for him to get to the rim. Hell, it even allows him to just spend more time on the court. The rest of his game gets all the more valuable, simply because the defense doesn't get to play five-on-four whenever he's spotting up on the perimeter.

If the jumper sticks—and that remains an "if" at this point in the process—that ceiling is back in the picture. The 21-year-old small forward still has plenty of years left to build up a name for himself in the NBA, and it appears he may just be a late-blooming prospect.

Hell... I'll just take Wallace 2.0. Wallace would have been a multiple all star and a regular on the All-D team s if the bobcats didn't suck dick during his entire prime.

You mean like hiring him what is basically his own shooting coach after his rookie season?

I do not agree that our franchise has done anything but been supportive and patient with MKG.

I'm not sure how a 21 year old could be considered a late bloomer, but whatever...I'm so excited that he's finally getting some positive press. After how hard he's worked he deserves it.

Imagine how much we're paying Mark Price...

Charlotte has supported MKG during his development most definitely.

If he wants Most Improved Player award he has some serious competition from OJ Mayo. He needs a gimmick. He has to stand out - go with a different look. I think if he went with an afro like Mayo he'd command even more attention on the court. A different look boosted the careers of many players - Rodman, Birdman, Joakim Noah. Mayo caught on, it's time MKG did as well. I've always said if I were a black dude I would grow an epic fro.
