You're back Sky_Knicks? You still got a boner for Amare?
You notice he doesn't post when Amare is in the game, think someone has a cellphone on the bench...

Don't disagree, I'm rooting for an awful Atlanta/Memphis season so we can pry away a Horford, Gasol, or Millsap. I just don't see any team acting too quickly unless there is problems with coaching/management (please choke your coach Demarcus Cousins, we need you here).
Horford was a guy who reportedly was quietly being shopped. I think he'd be great on this team, next to Melo and in the triangle. Rondo would do well here but apparently Ainge wants a fortune thx to the precedent set by BKN. Don't think there's anyway Gasol is traded unless he's adamant that he won't resign.
Couple of other guys that could be here in cap clearing moves:
Teague
Lee
Pekovic
DWill
Hibbert
West
Lopez
Jennings
Obviously some are better options than others. Some would be a part of a bigger deal bringing us a legit guy or asset back. Part of me just wants us to not give up any picks or young guys to get someone and just sign Gasol or Rondo or both (if we move JR / Calderon). Part of me thinks don't put all your eggs in the FA basket we've been burned as well as so many other teams.
We've been burned too many times from LeBron and Bosh to C Webb and David Robinson years ago. Hell, Michael Jordan even used us as leverage to get that 30M contract back in the 90s. If we have a chance to trade for a guy who can help Melo, we have to do it. That being said, idk if I'd get rid of the pick. Our young guys I'd deal in a heartbeat to bring in a Gasol, Horford, Rondo, etc.

Don't let this recent play fool you.
