I felt like the team was a little bit distracted and they were probably a little more emotionally pumped than they should have been. I fully expect them to play a very competitive match in Chicago and possibly leave town with the victory.

LBJ had an off game. The ball didn't move and we did not get out and run too. no big deal.

Lebron seemed unprepared to play this game which surprised me. As someone else alluded too it also looked as if he was trying to run the Mia offense from time to time. Bulls tonight will be an interesting matchup and we'll see if the team can look a little more cohesive.
Preemptively joining the Bucks and Twolves bandwagons.

I didn't think that the Cavs had bad ball movement and there were very few bad shots. They could have moved the ball more but for the most part they had really good shots that they just missed. In addition, NY was making some tough shots very late in the clock. I'm hoping that both are aberrations.

Hey guys I come here in peace, just wanted to give my 2 cents bout last night.

I think Lebron started way too passive. I get it he wanted to get everyone involved, but he forgot about himself. By the end of it he was out of it. He made that 3 but not much other than that. You can't let an undrafted rookie playing his first NBA game shut you down, that can't happen when you're the best player in the NBA.

Kyrie looked alright, could have been better but he scored. Waiters was hitting his shots, even though they weren't always the best ones to take.

The real star was Kevin Love. His shooting was spectacular, his passing was on point, he was everything your team could want and more. He proved all the doubters wrong, and I know it's only 1 game but shut up Chris Bosh and his comments. Love looks to be a huge upgrade over Bosh, and I would consider Bosh a very good player in this league.

Varejao did his thing, pure energy and offensive boards, drawing offensive fouls. Him and Love were all over the offensive boards. Varejao will be great with his old buddy Lebron back.

Tristan Thompson didn't do much when he got his minutes. Same thing with Marion. I think Mike Miller got minutes too late in the game, should've got him warmed up a bit earlier.

Dellavedova looked nice off the bench, pesky defense, hit some big shots when needed, his pressure was good and he plays hard.

I'm sure your squad will bounce back fine, but they should have won that game against the short handed and far less talented Knicks.

Love was good early on, but he missed a boatload of wide open shots towards the latter part of the game. He was the one who missed the wide open 3 that would have tied the game. That along with LeBron not being able to make a shot helped to lose a very winnable game. Can't let that type of team hang around and hope to make the important shots later.

You realize that Love was 6-14 shooting and only hit 2 FGs after the first quarter. Yes, he had a great 1st quarter and is pretty useless in the 4th quarter, that is very similar to how he played with the Wolves all the time.

Useless? Missing shots and being useless are very different things. Love sets big screens, grabbed a boatload of rebounds, advanced the ball quickly at every opportunity (including negating a Melo bucket by making a 3/4 court pass), etc. The guy was valuable all game long, and he always will be.
1/17/2015 prediction: Curry outplays Westbrook in the 14-15 playoffs.

So it begins.

Will anyone else be there? Should be one crazy night.

Lol you're going? How much did you spend on your ticket if you don't mind me asking?

Sorry for the late response. Been a crazy last few days with the game, work, and trying to recover from a crazy night in Cleveland. (Im not as young as I used to be)

I actually ended up not paying anything for the seats. I won the ticket lotto for the opener and bought 3 expensive seats then flipped those for quite a bit more so that I could buy 2 less expensive ones and still make some extra cash. I really didnt care about sitting close for this one, so it was well worth it.

Love hit a huge 3 right after Dellavadova did to keep it close and he was a monster on the offensive boards. He also sets amazing screens and has a lot of great assists/hockey assists.

One of your major points however was that he shot well when in fact he really did not. There were quite a few wide open 3 pointers that he missed that would not only have kept us in the game but likely could have changed the outcome.

Very true, he just isn't a great 4th quarter scorer. He still does a bunch of things well in the 4th, just not score, he's always been like that.
