I mean I figured we had no chance to win at brons coming home party in Cleveland seeing wd got embarrassed so bad at MSG. they were up 35+ on us at one poimt

Bulls are good

But our second u it played like **** vs the bulls. Not so mch tonight. We got good production from 2 of our 3 sgs

Thanks I didn't seethe game but I will say I was shocked when I saw the score but I'm pleasantly surprised. Maybe we have something here

Also note that the Bulls bench is stacked. Cavs bench is light

BUT the probability is almost ZERO, only Melo could carry us which is not likely going to happen.

LOL the exact opposite of what I thought was going to happen happened... all good though since it's what my heart believe but my head told me to stop dreaming.

THAT DAGGER OVER LEBRON THOUGH.

I ain't going to lie. I did not expect the Knicks to win this contest. While I don't believe this Knicks team was as bad as they were against the Bulls, I didn't expect Cleveland Cavs, specifically Lebron James to be passive in his homecoming.

This win was a GREAT confidence booster.

The unsung hero was Quincy Acy who was very good. The league will figure this guy out in time but I'm glad he is getting playing time.

I give exactly 5 more games before Jason Smith replaces Dalembert as the Knicks' starting center.

oxymoron?

It's going to be their weakness. They can't handle anybody at the rim. I have a feeling Chicago and the West is going to rip them apart. Our bigs, who aren't great, were able to outsize and out energy them. I fear to see what a front court that can really play will do. Damn I wish we got Pau over the summer.

tough to get a sense of the cavs bench when Blatt doesn't play them. He was really outcoached by Fisher tonight. He barely got any rest for his main guys and it showed down the stretch. Melo was really good in the second half (he got good rest during the game) and even though sometimes we get a little stagnant Fisher calls a TO and we get right back in the triangle.

agreed. The international game is 40 minutes, I wonder what sort of role the transition played?

The difference came down to JR Shump Prigs Acy and Larkin. These guys all played the opposite of how they played vs the Bulls. Larkin played aggressive but under control. Shump looked for the smart play rather than a quick shot or a forced pass. JR besides the forced last second jumper played more like the 6th man of the year than what we saw last year. Acy out hustled Varejao and Love. Prigs made all the necessary plays including shooting it when he was open. Fisher utilized every guy on the roster. He pushed all the right buttons and out coached Blatt. Last year we lose that game plain and simple.

Also, what alot of Shump haters and regurgitators say is that Shumper can't handle the ball. Last night, if my memory serves me correctly, Shump was the principle ball handler when the Cavs went full court press.

Although I've always been a Shump supporter one game shouldn't forgive last season which was utterly forgettable. Everyone on this board wants Shump to succeed.(so much so that he is often overrated when he plays great like vs Boston in the playoffs) if Shump plays the way he did last night in 66% of the games this year, then the Knicks will be a playoff team.

Fisher should have a better pulse on the team than Woodson cause Woodson was clueless. I mean Tyson played harder opening night the other day for the Mavs than any game for the Knicks the past 2 seasons. LGK!

in all fairness his handles last year were far inferior to how they appear presently..

You're absolutely right. I was joking though. My mind was off in a totally different direction with that one.
