Faried is a stat sheet stuff who is at his best when he's playing with energy and impacting the game by outworking his opponents. That's what Josh is supposed to do. As I compare both players, Faried played more efficiently than Josh with his 9 for 22 debacle. Josh is the better player, but he plays with an inflated sense of self which compromises his ability to be efficient. He's his worst enemy.

Can you read? Nobody here is disputing what you're saying. If you don't think both players are most effective using their energy and athleticism for scoring and rebounding opportunities, and also both being their best defensively on weak side shot blocking, then you're not being honest. And by the way, you're wrong in saying 29 out of 30 GMs would take Faried. 30 out of 30 would. Maybe if you take a step back and use context, you'll see nobody here is unsulting or slighting Faried. Not sure why you're taking it that way.

He's 8/28 after 6/10 start. Can't blame him for first match but Faried is right overall. He can't shoot but keeps trying and it's hurting the team. Also that he's not a SF argument is kinda trash, wasn't much different at PF. We need to keep Monroe.

The thing is Faried did not say anything wrong. His word are exactly true. Smith should instead own up to the fact that he did shoot us out of the game, instead of calling out Faried and saying "he's scared." Faried is a hustle player who gives effort every second he's on the court, has a high basketball IQ, takes good shots, and is a monster on the boards. Smith possesses none of those traits besides a high basketball IQ on the defensive end. That dreadlocks comment was completely unnecessary. I, along with many others, cannot wait until SVG and his staff find a deal that gets his ass out of here.
