To bad Kahn screwed up so bad by trading Big Al away for a bag of chips and not giving Love that 5th years.I would much rather have Love long term then Rubio.

Yeah, the wolves basically just gave kendall Marshall 14 mil per season but at least kendall can shoot.

What?
and he was never taken seriously again.

I feel like some of you guys are just making joke accounts to make me laugh. Appreciate guys.

Great news!!. I already love Timberwolves and this forum. I didn't want to change anything to follow Ricky :)

Love it!!! I think we're really building something special now!!! And locking one of our leaders up with a 4 year deal is a big stepping stone to stability and hopefully success.

Ricky wants to be a Wolf and that should mean a great deal to all of us who have seen so many guys leave cause they didn't want to be here.

Kid is a dynamic player (minus the shooting which has been debated ad nauseum) and locking him up for the next 4 years is a huge win for our Wolves in my humble opinion.

Hopefully Thad follows suit at the end of the season too!!!

Go Wolves!!!

I like that deal. It's good to have him as our PG for the next 4 years.

Does anyone know if the deal is flat or with annual raises?

If that's the case we'll gladly trade you Marshall plus throw in Henson and Knight to make up the salary.

Lol, I was exaggerating. No one wants the bucks trash. Marshall, Henson and knight are 8th men off the bench on good teams at best.

Ive been reading this everywhere, Rubio is worth 8-10m, not 12m.
Look at who gets paid 12m, Rubio is worse worse than Lowry.

1° he is a top-15 PG in NBA.

2° So, just because you are spanish and you whatch Rubio since he was 14, the people cant disagree with you ?

Ps: He also had a injury, a big injury, i remember that Rubio before the injury was in the talks to be ROY, i think was Kyrie the other.

In no order

Rondo
Rose
Irving
Lawson
Curry
Paul
Conley
Holiday
Dragic
Bledsoe
Lillard
Parker
Westbrook
Lowry
Wall

Eh… no, he is not top10, no matter what.

he improved, his FG% went from .357, to .360, to .381, and so far this year, .409

it's all about incremental improvement and patience. At this rate he will be shooting over 60% from the field when he's in his Kevin Willis years.

How do you feel paying Parsons the max?

the thing is, i ve seen enough to know what player is him, the margin for progression in his case is slim.

Dallas didn't pay Parsons the max, close to the max, but he was a RFA and he basically took Dirks money.
Dallas is a top5? top7? team in the league, they should do that to try to compete, Minnesota is going nowhere, why pay for an inefficient type of guard that does not succeed in the league anymore?
If I were the Wolves Ive probably just traded him.

Id prefer to pay that money to RJackson than to Ricky in todays game.

Lowry with 28 yo, was just an average player before the amazing last season.
