Kawhi left his shooting ability at the negotiating table as well as a max extension apparently. We need Kawhi to shoot better than 0% to hope to dominant a full game. Pop's rotations weren't all that great either. Kawhi should've come in earlier in 4th. Nasty loss, but give the Suns and Isaiah Thimas credit, they fought hard and beat the Spurs.

Overall this was a pretty sloppy performance for us. Outside of Tony, Tim and maybe Boris the offense was dreadful, lots of unforced turnovers, Kawhi looked really rusty and other than the three guys I already mentioned no one really made a difference on that end.

As for the defense we were solid in the first half but things just fell apart in the second half. We let the Suns bait us into playing their game in the third and our transition defense just fell apart and it was all down hill from there. Way too many touchy fouls and poor rotations.

I'll give the Suns some credit though. They kept fighting despite being down by double digits a couple times in the first. Dragic, Bledsoe and Thomas all did a great job of pushing the pace and wearing us down and in the end that was the difference in the game. We got tired and flustered and we made some foolish mistakes.

I was also really impressed by Len, i've never been that high on him but he showed some flashes tonight and had a really good game.

Yeah he had me confused at times. I liked the idea of starting Daye but just didn't work.

I feel like we really missed Patty and Tiago for this one. Tiago would of allowed us to start Diaw and he could of come off the bench and played those minutes that Ayres and Baynes played so poorly and well this is the type of game that Patty would of thrived in on both ends.

Was there way that Baynes and Ayers would look good considering how much PHX emphasizes on ball movement and PG play?

Both of them were awful in the pick and roll on both ends and Baynes had two pointless offensive fouls. Both of them were really bad in my opinion.

This Suns team might be the real deal. They're loaded in the backcourt, their bigs are solid if unspectacular, the Morris twins are up and coming and they're well coached.
