I know it's could have should have, but I don't expect a Blake Griffin type to drop 40 on us every game. In light of that, our play was encouraging I think.

what is a blake griffin type? hes an incredibly good player, not like he doesnt have the ability to drop 40 on any team.

He's not a pure scorer. He has limitations in his game.

He's got a lot less than he used to. The guy has worked hard on his game and can score in many different ways.

The thing that gets me about Griffin is every time down the court and after every play, he looks like he wants to kick someones ass... He's always projecting badass...
Yet he's complaining to the media about chippy fouls...

He's always looking for the big dunk and is ready to stand over or humiliate another player any chance he gets, but he flops and complains about calls...

He's a great player, don't get me wrong... But he's also a walking contradiction that feels contrived in some way... A little like LeBron.

@Matt

You're saying what I was trying to say. I'm probably not his biggest fan, but he's a talented scorer and sadly in the way we're weakest (interior)

I didn't come here for this but I'm going to respond and tread lightly in light of the new rule that just came out.

1) On most of his posters, he doesnt stare people down. The only times he does it (from what Ive seen) is when it's chippy already (Pau and Humphries come to mind). Mozgov and Perkins did not get stared down.

2) He's damned if he does and damned if he doesnt. If he doesnt project bad ass, he's soft. If he projects it and gets fouled the way he does, then he's a hypocrite/ fraud. He's caught in no man's land imo. He's not a brawler but he wants to play the game hard.

3) it's not 2012. His flopping is overstated these days. I'd say he hasn't flopped at all since 2012 but I'm sure somebody has seen a minor head jerk here or there that confirms what they believe. No fines or warnings though in 2 seasons. TWO SEASONS. CP has received two as far as I can remember. Either Griffin is over the flopping issue or the league has a vested interest in neglecting his flops over the last 2 years but not Paul's.

What I really came here for was to mention how good I think Kobe looks and how 4 games in, his play should have silenced many of his offseason haters. He has room to grow this season once he gets his legs completely under him IMO.
